My Friday

My friday isnt going as planned. I woke up this morning not feeling good and I had to take Miss Sabrina to the vet but I wouldnt have made it there and felt good while she was working on her. To top it all of Sabrina didnt fit in her carry on bag either. She was to big both ways. Shes gained weight since February. So I canceled her appointment and gonna take her on Monday with my friend Nancy. Wish us luck and that she is well behaved there for her distemper shot and microchip to. I am also gonna go and get her a new carry on bag or crate for big cats tomorrow. My friend also put up curtins up for me here they are. They are a rose color. Well I just wanted to share my day with all of you.

Pirates Of The Carribean Dead Mans Chest

Chuck and I went to see Pirats Of The Carribean Dead Mans Chest yesterday and we both thought that movie was really good. It had a lot of action in it and it was fun to watch. It was 2hrs 1/2. Chuck cant wait for the next Pirate of The Carribean movie. Has anyone else saw the movie what do you all think of it. Let us know.

Watermelon-Lime Ice Pops

Watermelon-Lime Ice Pops
(Makes 12)

4 cups seeded, diced watermelon

1 cup hulled, chopped strawberries

1/3 cup sugar

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 tbsp chopped mint

In blender puree first four ingredients, strain. Stir in mint. Divide in molds: freeze.

(I got this recipe from the Instyle magazine and wanted to share with all of you.) I thought it would be a fun summer recipe since its so hot here in Germany and everywhere else)

Smokey The Big Furbaby

Smokey the big furbaby came over to our house to visit with my friend Nancy. He got hurt by her other dog and she wanted to keep a eye on him. I know that Sabrina wasnt very happy with the idea of a dog in her house so she laid under the table in the dining room the whole time while he stayed in the living room. Smokey is the sweetest Great Dane. He thinks of himself as a big lap dog and sits his butt in your lap. Which I dont mind because I like dogs.

Superman Returns

Chuck, me and my friend Nancy saw Superman Returns today. It was a okay movie. They dragged it out and it got boring. There was some action parts to it that made it fun to watch. The movie is about Superman Returning after being gone for awhile. Everything changed. He finds out that Lois Lane has a fiance and a little boy to.


I dont want to ruin it for all of you so if your gonna see it just beware that its almost 2 hrs in a half.

Its to hot

Its to hot for me and Chuck in Germany lately. Last year we had a lousy summer here but now its hot and we both wish that we had a air conditoner here. Is anyone else hot in Germany. I dont mind the warm weather I just wish that we could get our house to be cooler. Just fans arent working for us. We have to be careful if we open up the windows or the deck door because of our little escape cat. Any ideas of what we could do.

On Saturday Chuck and I went and visited our friend Manuella and her daughter Emilia in Kaltondheim(spell wrong) which is a little town about 1okm from Wurzburg we had a nice time hanging out with them. Chuck got some new toys these pass few weeks that he loves to play with. He got a new MP3 player, a new shopvacume he saids that its mine but he seems to love to vacume with it more than me. He also got a new remote control helicopter to. He loves his toys. Does anyone elses hubbies loves to play new gadgets and stuff.

American Dreamz

A movie review


We saw American Dreamz today it was a okay movie. I dont want to give to much away but Hugh Grant kind of reminded me of Simon from American Idol with some of the stuff that he said. There was some funny stuff in there and some boring stuff to. Chuck got bored with the movie and almost went to sleep. I know that I didnt say that much about it but I dont want to ruin it for anyone that sees it.

Hotwings

Hotwings By Chef Chuck:


Chuck made Hotwings today for us and our nieghbors. He used my dads recipe and his brothers recipe and they came out really good. What he did is mixed Texas Pete Sauce with a stick of butter in the bowl and put it in the microrave for 2 minutes and then he stuck all the wings in flour. After that he put in a few at time in the frying pan with cooking oil. After they were cooked all the way through he stuck them in the bowl of hot sauce and they are really yummy.

Finally our internet is up and running again. We didnt have it for 3 days so the TKS guy came out and checked it and he said it was DSL Modem so we went and bought a new one. We are both happy because we can both be on the internet and he can finally play on his lap top.

Its a NY Thing

Today we are barbequing Chicken Spedies and Chucks gonna make his grandmas yummy potato salad. Thats the only kind of Potato salad that he will eat. Chicken spedies are cut up chicken chunks with Lupos Marinade sauce. If you dont like chicken you eat beef, veal, or venison. Our favorite spedies are Chicken. Cat Question for all Cat people

Well as most of you all know that we took a stray in Janauary and at first it was hard for the both of us with her because she was so agressive but then she calmed down a lot and she even trys to love people. Well the question is how do I make her stop biting. One of my friends today told me that I have to break her from that. But how do I do that with out being bit by her. She mentioned some kind of stuff that you put on you and when she bites she gets a awful taste in her mouth. But where do I get that at being in Germany. I know that it isnt right but when she does bite its out of being scared or she thinks that your gonna hurt her.

TGIF From your Furry Friend Sabrina :)

Hi everyone I havent blogged for awhile because I have been busy looking out the window at all the birds and the bunny rabbits. They are all over my yard and I enjoy watching them. You know what happened to me a couple days ago my daddy was chasing me around the dining room table because he wanted me to wear a collor. He kept trying to get me but I was to fast for him. Mom couldnt stop laughing at us and my grandma to. So finally he got down on the floor with me and pretented he was gonna give me a backrub like my mommy does and he grabbed me and had grandpa hold me and finally got the blue collar on me. Its okay to wear but I keep trying to take it off. I wish that I didnt have to wear it but my daddy said that if I should of ever sneak out the door and get outside that they could find me. Mommy said that I need a microchip to but the vet told us no but mommy said that she would feel better if I had one anyways. Does any of my furry friends have to wear annoying collors.

My parents left today

My parents left this morning we took them to the airport around 8:00 because their plane was gonna be leaving at 10:50am. They had a great time with us. They said that we were a lot fun. They enjoyed going to Italy with us and going on the Rhein Cruise and seeing the Hiedelburg Castle and going downtown shopping and just being with us. That made us feel good. We kept them busy the whole time they were here. I miss them and they have only been gone for almost a day. They also got to meet our Sabrina. She really liked my parents. Well as I am blogging this to all of you who read it my parents are waiting for their next plane in Montreal to go to NY at 330pm. We told my parents that we are gonna try and come home for Christmas since we havent saw our family since last June and we miss them all.

For desert we had Speggetti Ice

We took my parents to for Speggetti Ice Cream yesterday. Thats one of me and Chucks favorite icecreams to have here in Germany. So we wanted my parents to try them. They got theres split in half and me and Chuck shared one since it was really big. They enjoyed the icecream very much. Before we got the ice cream my mom asked me if it was really speggetti on top of icecream. I thought that was to funny. I explained to her what it was and she said oh okay.

My parents last meal in Germany

We took them to Ronneburg Castle for there last meal here. We had some wine and then ate our dinner. The highlight of our dinner was watching Chuck eat Snails very gross. Thats what my parents and I both said to that. I put a picture of them in there. They had some cream sauce on them but Chuck said they were really yummy. Then we took a walk around the castle and saw the peacocks and the valley from the top of the hill. My parents really enjoyed there dinner there.:)

My Parents last day in Germany

My parents last day in Germany was yesterday we took them for Donner Kebabs one of Chucks favorite meals. He said that they had to try them before they left so we went to Erlansee and had them. Then we went downtown shopping and they got to see the Fruit market and they really enjoyed that. They said that the veggies looked really good. Then we walked down the side street and they got to see the church that had its top blowen off during World War 11. This nice lady let us come in and check it out and they a little museum there which was very neat to see. Then they were tired so we finished shopping my mom and me went into shoe store and we both got a pair of sandals. Then they went to the Euro store and got some Germany stuff for my brother and my uncle and my little cousins.
We also took them to the Hanau Palace it was really pretty. Then we went to Walmart and my parents got some wine to bring home and they bought some candy to. My moms mouth opened up wide when she had to pack her own bag there. She diddnt know that she had to do that. It was a kodak moment which I could of got her picture.
After that we went to the Petstore because Chuck wanted to get Sabrina a new brush for her hair.

The Hiedelburg Castle

We took my parents to Hiedelburg Castle yesterday and they had a lot of fun there. We stopped for lunch and then headed for the castle. We got to tour of all of Hiedelburg because we got lost trying to find it. We finally found it and took a long walk up this huge hill and it was neat seeing it.
