Greek Resturant

We went to the Greek Resturant for dinner with our friends Maddy and Jared. It was our last couple days in the guest lodge and they picked us up. We had a nice dinner there and some wine to. We had a fun time there with them.

A week before we left Germany to adventure back to the states we spent a day with our friends Verna and her family. We went to Wurzburg and had lunch at the PX and then we went and walked around the town by there and got ice cream to yummy. It was a really yummy Italian Ice place. Yummy.

My uncle Rich Chuck suprized him working wiith his the camera at Brozzetties the yummiest pizza place in NY. :) Holding my little cousin Darrius. Hes 10 months in this picture. Isnt he a cutie. We met my cousin Nicole at her gas station she worked at. We suprized her she was so happy to see us. I love suprizing people. :)I found these when I was looking at my pictures from NY. Chuck and I had a fun time seeing our family and friends in March. :)

Well there really is nothing to update here I spent the day with my friend Rhonda yesterday and we went to see Evan Almighty that movie was really funny. I am glad that I saw it because I was have the deployment blues. I talked to Chuck the other day to and he said that I could get the camera. I found a cheaper one on Amazon so I bought it today. Its a Kodak and its a 6.1mp. Please cross your fingers everyone that it gets here before I leave on Monday. I dont want it to get stolen or end up missing. I am gonna use the camera when I go to NY to see my family and for the family reunion to. I am also gonna try my lap top and see if the pics will download on here to. I am worried about it so I hope that the camera gets here before I leave. :)
Its a rainy and glooomy day here. I got some stuff done around the house so I am happy. I dont have anything going on this weekend just gonna hangout at home.

Digital cameras stink

Yup I have 2 digital cameras and they are Kodak and they are being stupid. Last week I was able to upload pictures on my computer and today they are giving me such a hard time and wont do anything. I was thinking it was the digi card that is in there. I switched them around and then put them back in the cameras and they didnt work. I am not sure why they both worked until now. They both take pics and stuff. Does any one know what is wrong. I cant be with out a digital camera. I dont have anyone here to help me. :( I havent blogged that much this week because I wanted to do some pics to but my cameras are being dumb. Hopefully I can figure it out before next week. (Amy who is grumpy because of my cameras.)

Thank goodness its Friday the week went fast which made me happy. I got a lot done around our house and got 6 boxes unpacked to. I am working my bum off and hoping to get more done to. I just hate going in the garage its to hot out there.

Today my friend Rhonda came and visited hame today. She dropped of my shoes that I got from Avon. They are really cute. Since shes been helping me out with stuff I treated her for lunch at Red Robin. The food is really good there. Then we went and saw Mr. Brooks that movie was really good and very scary to. I liked it.

Tonight I am just hangingout at home and watcithing tv.

To Hot

Happy Monday to everyone its start of a new week. I just did a few things around the house and played with Sabrina. I didnt have anyone to hangout with which is okay because I understand why they dont want to come all the way to Raeford. I have a couple friends that live across the street but they have their hubbies home so I didnt want to bother them. I live in the country here and so far away from everything.
I also read my chicken soup for the girlfriend soul book.. Theres some great stories in there. Chucks Aunt Nancy bought it for me when I was in Germany. I love the book I am just a slow reader though.
Besides cleaning the house I just did some boxes in the garage but it was to hot out there for me. I almost melted. So if it cools down out there I will do some more. :p
On a happier note I am going to NY in July from the 9th-26th to see our family and friends. It will give me someone to chat with and hangout with. I am gonna take Sabrina home with me to since they have stupid rules in housing. I dont want to get in trouble for leaving her. She wont behappy for sitting in the car for 12hrs but she will get over it.
I hope that everyone is having a great day. I am gonna eat low fat fudge sicle and watch tv.

The History Of Fathers Day

Sonora Dodd, of Washington, first had the idea of a "fathers day." She thought of the idea for Fathers Day while listening to a Mothers Day sermon in 1909.

Sonora wanted a special day to honor her father, William Smart. Smart, who was a Civial War veteran, was widowed when his wife died while giving birth to their sixth child. Mr. Smart was left to raise the newborn and his other five children by himself on a rural farm in eastren Washington State.

After Sonora became a adult she realized the selflessness her father showen in raising his children as a single parent. It was her father that made all the parental sacrifices and was, in the eyes of his daughter, a courageous, selfless, and loving man. Sonoras father was born in June, so she chose to hold the first Fathers Day celebration in Spokeane, Washington on the 19t of June 1910.

President Calvin Coolidge, in 1924, suported the idea of a national Fathers Day. Then in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidental proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June as Fathers Day. President Richard Nixion signed the law which finally made it permanment in 1972.

Feeling Accomplished

I am starting to feel accomplished I got 6 boxes unpacked today most of it was dishes. So I put them away in the cuboard. I cant find another box because it has the rest of my plates in there and my steak knifes to. Word of caution watch the the movers when they pack your stuff they packed our chocolate hershy kisses ewwww. I threw them away gross. They were from Christmas time. I also hurt my back today moving them. I am going to adventure back out there this weekend and work on some more. I am also on the hunt for my summer clothes and my sandals to. Wish me luck finding them. Thats been my friday working on the garage. Now I am gonna watch The Price Is Right tonight its Bob Barkers last episode and I am also gonna watch The Emmys to. Happy Friday.

What a great day

Today has been a great day because Chuck poppoed up online yesterday and we chatted for awhile. It was so great to talk to him. He said that he called me yesterday but I was out with some of my friends at Ihop. I told him sorry but he said that I got to have a life while hes gone. :) He even called me today and said that he was doing good. He got my box and his moms boxes to. :) He said that he keeps getting headaches because of the heat I know what he means because I get headaches fro the heat to. He also had bruised ribs to from Wrestling ouch. It was great to hear his voice and chatt with him today. Please keep him in your prayers today as him and his troop are going to a new post tomorrow. I am not sure how far it is from the one that he is at now but just say a prayer for all of them to be safe and get there safely. :)

I also found Sabrinas new toy that she got for Christmas from Santa claus we just didnt open it for her we waited for the movers to come and have it packed it up because it has catnip in it. She loved playing with it to day. I will post some pics of her later. I even got a little video to but not sure if that will work but I can try. If anyone knows how to do videos for blogger please help me out or even picture slides to. I need help. I am blogger dumb. :(

Ihop

When being in Germany for 3 years Chuck and I missed our favorite resturants and many other things being there. One of the restaurants that I missed was Ihop. So today my friends and I went there. I had the French Toast La Viva it was really good.

The Monday Blahs

Yup I got the Monday Blahs today I think my whole street did. It was a gloomy and it rained a little bit today to. Our grass needs it. I saw the Sgt out today he was writing our houses down because our grass is getting long. He hasnt gave out the paper yet just writing everyone down. I know that it needs to be cut so the lawn guy is suppose to be here this week. That is one of my fears is getting in trouble with housing for silly stuff like that.

Today I cleaned the house, mopped, swept, cleaned the bathrooms and gave the empty boxes to my friend Nikki. She also gave me the table with the chairs for outside to. She gave it to me for a good deal 10 dallors because she could only find 3 of them.

I also went to the grocery store and got munchies for Chuck and some stuff for me to.

Can you keep my dads Aunt Jane in your thoughts and prayers she fell down and broke her arm. Shes 89 years old we all just want her to be okay. Thanks

I didnt to much today after that just relaxed and played with my silly cat.

The Sundays Post

There isnt to much going on with me this weekend. I just did 5 boxes yesterday and I found my canon camera box with my stuff for my camera but not the dang charger for it. I cant find it anywhere and its driving me nuts because I have pics from Germany on there and NY. I looked up to see how much a canon charger was on Amazon omg 50 bucks. I hope that I can find it. Chuck has pics on there from his last day at 1-1 Cav and stuff to. I know that he would want those pics because it was his old unit. Maybe some good luck vibes for finding it. Thats my favorite camera to because its little and takes great pics. What did the silly movers do with it.

I also got my out my crochet book to and gonna work on that. There isnt anything on tv. I need to get cable because those bunny ears only pick up CBS from SC. :)) I asked Chuck last week if we could get cable and he said yes because he loves tv. The only reason why I want it is for boring weekends and for Army wives on Sunday night.

I did alittle bit of decorating to I found some of our pics. If I knew how to hang them up on the wall I would so right now they are on my DVD shelves and my bar to.

I am gonna get going for now hope that everyone is having a great weekend.

Unpacking Boxes

Yup I unpacked 5 boxes today and ran across some old stuff. I found some of Chucks old brown tshirts and his old army pts. It was a box that he never unpacked when we were in Germany. I also found some some pictures to when Chuck was in Afghanistan in 2002.

I found some cards to from Christmas 3 years ago and I found money in there also. I guess we never checked the cards either. I found 50 dallors from my dads cousin. I guess we should start going through our stufff better before we have the movers pack our stuff up.

I found a box of pictures that were from Spring Lake there was some old pics in there. I am not sure what to do with the old pics because of our new pictures. I guess I am just gonna keep them in the box because my house would be a museum with all of our pictures. Its gonna be one anyways when I display Chucks beer steins.

I am trying my hardest to get more boxes unpacked so hpefully I can by the end of the summer. Wish me luck.

We climbed to many stair to get to the way top. I was so out of breath when I got to the top. Some lady blessed me when we got to the top because I looked horrible. Let me tell you it was a lot easier to go back down them. :)I am so happy that Chuck and I got to be stationed in Germany we had our ups and downs being stationed there but for the most part we loved it. We were stationed in Hanau right in the middle of everywhere. :) We made some great friends there that we will never forget. We were able to travel over most of Germany and see so much there and the beautiful scenery. Chuck loved seeing the mountains that was one of his favorite things to see there. We loved going to the Christmas markets, going to the bakeries they were so good. We miss the food and Chuck misses the beer. I know that he isnt here with me right now to say that but he does. Hes got 2 crates of German beer in our laundry room.
Well being stationed in Germany we were able to go and see other countries to. We went to Czech Republic, Italy, Amsterdam, we went to Italy twice and Luxembourg and Austria to. We got to see a lot there to and if we could go back and travel Europe we would.
It was great for both of us and I am so glad that I could experience it there.
I have to many pics maybe sometime this weekend I will put some more up of my favs.

Happy Wenesday

Today my friend Rhonda and I went to Olive Garden and met our FBF there and then we went and saw the movie Knocked Up. It was a really cute and funny movie. We both really liked it. :p Then we went to the bank today and it took forever because the lady had to put my POA into the bank system so I could cash some checks for Chuck. Well she also ripped it to but she didnt mean to. Its a small rip so I hope that it dosent matter when I have to use it again. I got worried about it but then I looked at the rip and it was small.
Well tonight I am just hanging out with my sweet Sabrina Kitty and watching King Of Queens. :)

My Tuesday

Yup my day today went good which I am happy about. I got my house cleaned up, laundry done and even got a couple boxes cleaned out to. Then I hungout with my neighbors outside they are both really nice. They were telling me all the rules for me going to NY in July. I am only going home for 3 weeks so I hope that nothing will happen to my house. I am also gonna take Sabrina with me because you cant leave your pets unattended for more than 2 days. I hate those rules. I guess I better get to use to them since I am living in housing. Last time I lived here and went home my house in Spring Lake got robbed when Chuck was deployed. I still think about that now when I want to go home. I just want the summer to go fast so I figure hanging out with my family and friends will be good and give me people that want to hangout with me. :)

I also got to talk to Chuck today he called me again. We talked for a little bit and he told me what kind of cigs he wanted. He wants me to get him a box of camel regs. Would you beieve this in all my years I never bought ciggerettes so its going to be my first time to do that. I love Chuck and if he wants them I will send him some.

I hope that everyone had a great day. I think we are gonna be getting thunderstorms yuck.

Sunday News

Happy Sunday everyone Chuck called me today after 2 weeks of no talking. Hes doing good. He said that he got to swim in the Tigries river and his Sgt caught some clams and cooked them. He said they were good. The phone connection stinks but it was great to hear him it kept cutting out on us but I didnt care. I told him about about what was going on here. He didnt go with the Unit that he left with hes with a different one now. Hmmm he told me that FRG is suppose to call me from his new unit but still havent heard anything. He wants me to send him cigs but I forgot to ask him what kind he wants. I think Sanomas or something like that. I just wish that he would quit. Does anyone else have to buy that for your hubbies. Ewwww. Am I aloud to buy cigs and send them in the mail. Just wondering.
I didnt do to much today just did stuff around the house and Sabrina and I took a cat nap. Well shes still sleeping though.
We finally got some much needed rain here. My grass is still a little bit brown but is starting to go back to Green again. I guess I should invest in a sprinkler for my yard.
I found out from one of my friends that there is a Indian Resturant here. I havent had Indian food since Germany but I do like the veggie dish. I will have to check that out sometime.

Happy June First

Well its already June the year is going fast..This week even went fast to. I worked on my house and hungout with my neighbor shes really nice to. She has a cute 3 year old. We talked outside today while her little guy was playing soldier. We also went to the Food Lion and I got some groceries and I went to the ATM to needed a little bit of cash to check out the garage sales in my housing area. I probroblay wont buy anything but it will be fun to walk around and check it out. I dont have to much planned for this weekend besides that. I hope that everyone has a great Friday and weekend to.
