Fake Friends
So lately people think that I am a fake friend which I dont understand. I do so much for everyone and help everyone out. Then they say I am fake. I am real and Chuck saids that I am a awesome friend to have. If anyone knows me knows that I am pushover. It just hurts that certain people think of me like that. I have a few true friends here but I am begining not to let my guard down because I dont like to be hurt. I have a friend that pushed me away and dosent even chat with anymore. She used to only Im me when she wanted something which that hurt. I made her a cake for her birthday and she didnt want it. I hope that I can make it through a year at Ft Bragg with out my best friend. :( Has anyone else been through this before.

You are a good friend, Amy. Sometimes people are just mean, and act that way towards people they feel will put up with it. Unfortunately, there are people who will use others and only come around when they want something. I am sorry you this has happened to you. I don't really talk to anyone here and have been quite the loner for a while now. It sucks, but I would rather have just even one true friend than a lot of so-called "friends" that aren't really there for you, you know? I think most people have gone through this at some point, so you aren't alone. You're better off not having these people for friends. A real friend would not treat you that way. They are the ones really losing out, not you!

Seems as tho we're both going threw a little something right now with 'friends.' I am so sorry to hear all this, Amy. I know I don't know you that well but I do know you well enough to say I don't think you are fake, I think you are a very caring friend. I totally agree with what Verna said at the end.. true friends wouldn't treat you that way & THEY are loosing out! You know where to find me if you need to talk/vent. {{hugs}}

Aw, hang in there. Good friends are hard to find and it sounds like the people who said that about you aren't good friends. Just continue to be you and eventually you will find someone who clicks with you. Hugs.
