Lately Sabrina has been naughty she has been testing me lately in the kitchen by getting on the counter. I am not sure why she is starting to do it but it annoys me. She thinks she being funny and sometimes is she is but I just dont like her where I cook my food. I have a squirt gun that my friends little boy gave me to use. I havent had to use it here because when I walk over to her she gets off. I guess shes trying to get her own snack because I wont give her one when she wants it. :) Is it just Sabrina thats naughty or is other peoples cats like that to. Naughty girl

Amy, try putting aluminum foil all over the countertop. Most cats don't like to walk on the foil & it's easy enough to pick up when you want the counter space. Two-sided tape is another idea, probably a good 2" in from the edge will work. Fill some empty soft drink bottles with dried beans & leave close to the edge of the countertop. The point is, she'll knock them over & it will scare her.
