Happy New Years Eve

Happy New Years Eve everyone. I hope that everyone has a safe and fun night. Tonight we are going out for German at German Resturant with Chucks parents, his aunt and uncle and our friend Liz and his brother Chris. Then we are gonna come back to my parents house and drink and watch tv. We are gonna stay in and be safe. What does everyone think about 2007. We think it went by to quick. I cant believe tomorrow we are gonna be in 2008 already. :) Talk to everyone next year. :)

Merry Christmas

I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas. The year went fast for us. Last year we were in Germany for Christmas. We celerbrated Christmas with our good friends Verna, Rich, Dakotah and Jesse. Yesterday we had a nice Christmas eve with our families. Today we are gonna have turkey and all the trimmings with my parents. Then we are gonna go to his parents house and have desert and hangout. Merry Christmas Eve

I hope that everyone has a happy Merry Christmas Eve. The weather in NY is gloomy today and we might get some snow showers. Its good to be home for Christmas and see our families. We have been having fun in NY even know its been 2 days. Today Chuck went sking with his uncle and cousins. It was free sking today for him. So hes gonna have fun. Then he comes back to my parents house for my parents Christmas party. We get to see my family and spend sometime with them. Then we are gonna go and visit his grandma and family. They are gonna have a party at his grandmas house. We are gonna have a fun day. Then tonight we are gonna go to midnight mass. I hope that everyone has a great day.

Only 4 more days

Only 4 more days until Christmas. We are getting excited about going back to NY to see our families this year. We havent celebrated Christmas with them for 3 years. We are leaving for NY tomorrow morning. Its gonna be a 12hour or less drive Say a prayer that we get their safely. We are all packed up and we know that Sabrina is in good hands with our friend Angie. I still dont have my computer yet. :( Hopefully when we get back from NY it will be done. They had to send it to Hewitt Packard to get fixed. Well I will blog when I get there and post pics to. My dads computer will let met. I am sorry I havent blogged that much this month.

Chuck packed up some of the car today and he put his ski's in there. He cant wait to go sking so hopefully theres a little bit of snow so he can do that. The only snow I want to see is some Christmas snow.

Hi everyone sorry I havent been able to post pics. Here is our Christmas tree. Sabrina likes to nibble on it. We had it up since the day after Thanksgiving, Its 8 more days until Christmas Eve and 9 more days until Christmas Day, We will be heading to NY next Saturday and leaving Sabrina with the best kitty sitter our friend Angie.

Today Chuck and I saw The Perfect Holiday it was a cute movie. It had Queen Latifa in it. We really liked it. It had a little romance in there and it was a great family movie.

Friday News

Well there is 18 untils Christmas now. The computer people called and said they dont know whats wrong with my laptop. :( They are gonna send it to Hewitt Packard to have it fixed. I am still sad about it becuse I miss my MSN groups and I so want to post pics on my blog. :( I know that I said that before but I do. I am gonna try and get to the library sometime and post. Well its also cold here in NC to and a very gloomy day. This weekend we are gonna go and see a movie and just hangout around the house.
Yesterday my mom called me and she said that my brother Joe is in the hospial. His asthma was really bad He was sleeping the whole day on Wenesday and that isnt him. My mom woke him up to take him to the docotors office and he sat up and fell asleep to. So they got the doctors office and the doctor said that his airways were constricted and that he wasnt getting any air to his lungs. So they admitted him to the hospital. Hes still there and on Oxgyen. The doctor said that hes gonna be there for a few days and then he will beable to go home. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he will feel better soon.

21 days until Christmas

Well there is 21 days until Christmas Day. We are are excited about it this year because we get to go and see our families. I still have some cool pics to show everyone but Chucks computer for some reason wont let me post pics and do MSN. I am really sad because I miss all of my MSN groups. I am also sad because I cant read my friends blogs either. They are all saved on my laptop. My laptop is still at Circuit City they dont know whats wrong with it. Thursday News

Sorry I havent blogged for awhile. We havent been up to much here this week. Right now I am using Chucks laptop until mine is fixed. Its at Circuit City and should be fixed this week. I miss my own computer but Chucks is working okay. Yesterday Chuck had his first jump after 4 years. He said that he was a little nervous but he did good. It was a fun jump so he didnt have to carry any weapons or stuff. We did put up our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. I willl post a pic of it when I get my laptop back. Chucks laptop wont let me load the pic of it. :( Sabrina is doing pretty good with the tree she loves to lay under it. Shes to cute. Got to go for now.

Mr Magorium Emporium

Yesterday Chuck and I went and saw Mr. Magorium Patorium it was a really cute movie. It was about a really big toy store and all the magical things that happened there. It was so good. I reccommend this movie for people of all ages. :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Two Movie Reviews

My first movie review is Lions for Lambs. It had Tom Cruise in it. I thought it was okay movie. It started out boring but ended up being pretty good. The movie was about trying to stop terriosim It kind of had to much details with it but we liked it.


The second movie is Enchanted. We saw that movie today. It was so sweet and funny. It started off as a cartoon but then the Princess fell in the wishing well by the Prince's step mother. She didnt want the girl to marry the Prince. Then it turned to real life and the story took place in NYC. It was so fun to watch. I really liked it.

Blowing Bubbles

A few weeks ago Chuck was having fun with Sabrina. He was blowing bubbles for her and she was popping them. It was funny to watch her trying to eat them and pop them.

Our Myrtle Beach trip

Our Myrtle Beach trip was a lot of fun. We went down on Friday morning and went to the Dickens Christmas show. It was set up with some neat booths and little vendors. We got our picture taken with Santa Claus. It as a donation for helping the kids out so we did it. We sampled a few of the treats there. We got to see all the pretty christmas trees that were set up there. Then we got to see all the differents Santas from all over the world. They were neat to see. Our favorite was the Cival War Santa because it was dressed up Patriotic. After we left the Dickens Christmas show we went and found our motel. We stayed at Breakers it was really nice hotel and it was big to. It was right on the beach. We didnt swim but we did walk up the beach and checked it out. We actually did see a older guy swimming. It was to windy for me and Chuck but we did watch him. We had dinner at the Red Parrot bar and grill right in the hotel. The food was pretty good. Chuck had hot wings and peel and eat shrimp. I had a tossed salad and french fries. Chuck sang Kareoke that night and he sang I Cross My Heart our wedding song. He was being so sweet.

On Saturday morning we checked out and had breakfast at Friendlys. Then we drove over to the Dixie Stampede and got to meet some of the stars of the show. Your all gonna laugh but the stars of the shows were the horses. We took a few pics and then went to Broadway for the day. Broadway was a cool boardwalk. We went to a few of the shops there and saw a movie. We saw Fred Claus. It was a cute movie. It was about Santas Brother and how it was to be Santas brother. It was fun to watch and got us in the Christmas spirit. Then we visited a few more shops and they actually had a shop called the Cat Shop. That was cool. I bought a few cat things in there. Chuck wanted to go to a Magic store and he bought a few magic tricks. Then to top off our anniversary day we went back to the Dixie Stampede for our show. It was a Christmas Dixie Stampede show. It was so much fun and we got yummy food there to. Everything was decorated for Christmas in there. The waiters and waitresses were dressed up as elves. I posted a website for it in another blog a few days ago. We want to go back down and see the other show that they do. Dolly Parton owns it. Everyone that worked there was so very nice. We had a great 6th Anniversary. :)

MIA for 2 days

This weekend Chuck and I are gonna go to Myrtle Beach for 2 days. We are gonna go to the Dickens Christmas Show tomorrow. We heard it was suppose to be fun so we want to check it out. Its suppose to be set up like England was back in the 19oos during Christmas. We are staying the night and then we are gonna go to the Dixie Stampede on Saturday. Its suppose to be fun. Its gonna be a dinner and show for our 6 year anniversary. I will be back on Sunday with pictures for you. I hope that everyone has a safe and fun weekend. :)

Here our 20 Facts about me. This is fun to do. :)

1. I have been a Army Wife for almost 6 years in 4 days.

2. I love the color Blue and Pink. I ushally write everything in Blue on the computer.

3. Christmas is my favorite holiday not because of getting presents but because I love to give presents and see kids faces on Christmas Day.

4. I have a furbaby Sabrina I love her tons shes our baby for now hopefully some day we will have kids.

5. Yuck to Onions and Peppers they are so gross...

6. I hate the feeling of foam it makes me go nuts when I have to touch it. At resturants I try not get leftovers because of them being served in foam. I also dont eat off of foam plates and drink from foam cups.

7. I love to write letters and emails to people.

8. I love to eat chips and salsa its my favorite snack to have.

9. I love to drink water and I drink lots of it

10. I love to travel and see new places.

11. I dont like to swim that much because I am not very good at swimming.

12. I love to cuddle with Chuck and just watch tv with him instead of going somewhere all the time.

13. I love my family and I am happy that we will beable to go home for Christmas this year. We havent celebrated Christmas with our families for 4 years.

Sabrinas favorite toy

Sabrinas favorite toy these days is the blue spinning ball thing. It has a scratching thing on there for her to. She can spend hours and hours spinning the ball around. She loves to play with it all hours of the day especially when me and Chuck are sleeping. I heard her the other night at 3am playing with it. She is trying to get the ball out of it but she cant yet. Its fun to watch her try to.

The Beer Man

Chucks costume this year was being the Beer Man. He found the mask at Walmart. Hes drinking a German beer out of his favorite beer mug. I took this pic of him the day before Halloween. He wanted to try it on. He looks funny wearing it. He also wore it on Halloween to and gave out candy.

The Sunday times :)

Today Chuck and I went to the Holly Day Fair it was at the Crown Expo Center in Fayetteville. It was pretty neat to see the stuff. It was a bunch of different crafts and some winerys were there to. We sampled a few wines yummy. We ended up buying some Christmas sweet wines. They were so good and they helped my tooth ache to. Well since next week is our anniversary we are gonna drink a bottle of it. We also bought a few other things to. Chuck got me a purse that I can put pictures in it. It looks kind of like a christmas purse but its pretty. He saids it for my anniversary present. I will put a pic of it up sometime this week. He knows that I love purses. THen we got a funnel cake for desert that was really good.

I am also feeling a little bit better now and my tooth is to. It still throbs but hopefully in a few days my tooth will feel better. I still have a cold to but it seems to be getting better so that makes me happy.

Bourne Ultimatium

Today Chuck and I went to see Bourne Ultimatium at the Omni theatre. The movie started out boring but it ended up to be really good. It was a little over a hour in a half. The movie had some action parts and some funny parts. Jack Bourne finds out who he really is. I dont want do say to much more and ruin it for everyone.

Sorry

I am sorry that I havent posted for a few days. After my tooth got pulled I havent been feeling good. I also had a horrible sinus cold to so I just wanted to laydown. I went to Ihop with my friends for breakfast yesterday but I started to feel sick so my friend took me home and I layed on the couch and cuddled with Sabrina the whole day. My tooth is starting to feel a little bit better today and I decided that I am not gonna take the percasat anymore because thats what was making me feel wierd to. I am gonna take regualar pain meds for my tooth if I need it.

Happy Halloween I hope that everyone has a fun and safe day. We arent doing much here because I have to go to the dentist. Wish me luck because I have to have a tooth extracted. I was scared and didnt sleep good last night. I hope that it dosent hurt to much. The lady said the dentist in germany did a horrible job with the rootcanal. :( I am not gonna dress up but Chuck said hes gonna be the beer man. Dan In Real Life

Chuck and I saw Dan In Real Life today. I thought the movie was really good. It was very funny. It was PG 13. I reccommend this movie if you looking for something sweet and funny. :)

Our Fun Weekend :)

At our friends Halloween Party. We didnt dress up just wore Halloween shirts. :) We had a fun time.

Since Chucks been home we have been kind of busy doing things and having fun. I am sorry that I havent posted since last Sunday. :)

This weekend we went out for dinner with our friends Rhonda and Brian. We went to Applebees. Chuck and I both had the steak and Rhonda and Brian did to. Then they picked out a movie for us to see. We saw Saw 4. I didnt like the movie it was to scary for me and had gross scary parts. I couldnt tell you what the movie was about I wasnt really paying attention. Chuck said it was awesome. He thinks there might be a 5 now.

Then yesterday we went to a Halloween Party at one of our friends houses. We had a lot of fun there. We also got to meet some new friends to.

Today we just went to Church, and got grocieres to. Because of all the rain that we had here in NC we both got really bad colds. So Chuck made us homeade chicken noodle soup. It was really yummy.

We had a fun weekend, and its great to have my soldier home safe.

Welcome Home Chuck

Our first Kiss :) Welcome Home Chuck. He came home yesterday and my friend Angie and I and her son Chance went to pick up him up. We went to Green Ramp on Pope AirForce Base to meet him. They changed their flight a few times but finally they arrived at 600pm. They did the National Anthem and then the General welcomed them back. Then they had 15 mins to visit with family members and then they boarded the bus. Then me and my friend Rhonda met him at his barracks and waited for 2hrs then they could leave. Rhonda took us home but on the way we stopped at Subway for dinner. That was his first meal yesterday but he picked it out since it was late. Then we brought his stuff in the house and he played with Sabrina. She wasnt sure at first what to think of him but shes getting use to him being here.

Exciting News :P

I got some exciting news to share with all of you. :) Chuck is gonna be home this weekend in the afternoon. I am so excited to go to his homecoming. I know that he hasnt been gone that long but I missed him lots. I bought a dress today and shoes for 21 dallors all together at Fashion Bug. I was deciding what to wear and it came down to this sun dress. Angie said that I looked good in it. Thank you everyone for keeping Chuck in your thoughts and prayers. :) I will be back either Sunday or Monday with homecoming pics. ;)

Fun day today

I had a fun day today to with my friend Angie. We went to her friends house today and visited her forawhile. Then we had lunch at Jason Deli's that resturant was really good. Its a sandwhich and soup resturant. I got got a BLT and chips, pickle and a coke. The food was good and filled me up. Then we went to PetSmart and saw the cats there. The one cat he loved it when we petted him he would rub his body across the bars so we could pet it. It was a gray cat. It was really cute but so were the other cats to. I hope that they all get a good home. :) Then we shopped a little bit there and went to Aldies and came home.

Crazy cat

Yup I love Sabrina dearly but she is my crazy cat. Yesterday she climbed up the back window. She saw a little lizard outside climbing it so she attempted to try and get it. I didnt even know she could climb up the glass but she did it. I wish that I had my camera for the moment that she did it. She was to fast. I think she is to funny. I told Chuck about her to and he got a kick out of hearing about her. Next time I will get a picture when she does it. :)

Well a couple of weeks ago I went to a babyshower for my friend Erika. It was a fun time. I know that i blogged about it but I just wanted to share a pic from there. My friend Lisa let me have it. I had my camera that day to but I forgot that I had it and didnt get any pictures.

Fall weather in NC

The weather has changed from really hot to really cool within a week in NC. It went from 90s to high 60s. I miss the warm weather. The leaves are even starting to change colors to. They look really pretty. The leaves are still green to so maybe next week the trees will look more fall like. I wouldnt mind the weather going back up to the 70s or 80s that would make me happy. At least I can say is that the sun is out so that makes me happy. :)

I found this cookbook at Barnes And Noble. I really like it because it has easy recipes in there that I can do. I try to cook stuff and some stuff chuck cooks to. We are both learning how to cook still and we have been married for almost 6 years. I found a lot of yummy recipes in there that we would both like.

They break the book down from Appetizers, Salads, Vegetables, Beef, Poultry, Pork, Fish, and Deserts to. I am hoping to try some of these recipes when he comes home.

I will share some of the recipes when I make them for Chuck. If anyone wants a recipe for something just ask I will see if they have it there.

I have been doing a lot of looking on the internet for easy and yummy recipes. I found some good crockpots one.

Happy Wenesday

Its been a very uneventful day for me just catching up cleaning and getting the house ready for next week sometime. The power went out this morning so I freaked out and walked down to housing and guess what happened the power went back on. I was happy because I didnt want to be in my house without power. I am also doing laundry and gonna read later on to. :) I dont have anything planned for today here.

Happy Columbus Day

Happy Columbus Day everyone I hope that everyone had a wonderful Columbus Day weekend. I had a fun time with my mom, my Aunt Micki and my Uncle Dave we didnt do to much but we still had fun. On Saturday we went to Fayetteville and had breakfast at Ihop and went to Barnes and Noble and got a few books. Then we came home and relaxed and went out for dinner at Joes Crab Shack. That is one of my favorite resturants to go to the food is good and its fun to watch the waiters and the waitresses to. I had Coconut Shrimp and French Fries and a coke. My Aunt Micki wanted a Fishbowl drink but they dont have them anymore. Then yesterday we went to the outlet mall in Smithfeild North Carolina. We looked at some stores and had lunch at Cracker Barrel. After shopping we just came home and relaxed. Then my mom and I went to walmart and looked around then had Speggetti for dinner. I am glad that they came to visit me. It was great seeing them. :) I dont have anything planned for today just gonna rleax and hangout with Sabrina. :)

Oh I almost forgot Happy Anniversary to Chucks Aunt Nancy and Uncle Gary we hope that you both have a great day.

Yeah my family is coming today to visit:

I am excited to say that my family is coming to visit. They were suppose to come last month but my Uncle got sick on the road so they went home. As of now I havent heard anything that they werent coming so that makes me happy. They left NY today at 730 am gonna stop and have breakfast at Friendlys then head to North Carolina. Its a 12hr drive for them but I live about 45 minutes pass Fayetteville in Raeford. :) I am not sure what we will do this weekend because we are gonna have gloomy weather here. They are gonna have a air show on post but my mom and my aunt arent interested in seeing that. I will think of something for us to do. Well have a great weekend everyone.

Pam Johnson Bennet is the author of the book shares stories of some of the families that she went to help them with their cats. She figures out whats going on with their cat. Some of the stories were funny and some were sad. I enjoyed reading it very much.

Happy Hump Day

Today I got some much needed cleaning done around the house. I also did laundry to. My neighbor Abby locked herself out of her house today. I felt bad for her it was after hours so the community center wasn't open with a extra key to her house. So she came over to my house and used the phone and called the locksmith person to come and unlock her door. We just chatted while we waited for him to come. It took him a hour to get out here so she just watched tv and played with Sabrina. After she left I watched Criminal Minds. I love that show. :) Its my favorite show to watch on Wenesday nights.

This month also makes me happy Chuck and his troop are suppose to be home sometime after the 15th and before Halloween. :P His troop has been there for over 15months and they are ready to finally come home. When we PCSed back to Ft Bragg from Germany in April. He joined them in May and helped them to finish up their tour there.

A Year Of Absence Six Womens Stories Of Courage, Hope and love

A Year Of Absence Six Women's stories of courage, hope and love by Jessica Redmond was a really good book. I enjoyed reading it I couldnt put the book down. The story takes place in Baumholder Germany. It was during April 2003 until July 2004. All 6 of girls share what they went through when their husbands deployed and how they felt when they when the First Armored Division got extended. Some of them went through a ruff time and I got teary eyed reading it. I reccommend this book. I really liked it.

I was in Germany to when this story takes place. We were suppose to be at Baumholder in February 2004 but when we got there they sent us to Hanau Germany and I was there when First Armored Divison got extended. The wives that were in Hanau were very upsett to and I felt bad for all of them.

Saturday Fun

Yesterday I had fun day I went to a babyshower for my friend Erika. It was nice to see her and all of my other friends that I know from a group that I belong to. Her shower was at my friend Lisas house. There was a lot of yummy snacks there. We played some fun games to and I won some lotion. Then she opened up presents and loved everything she got. I had a fun day hangingout with them. They are a nice group of girls. I should of took pictures but I forgot to my camera was in my purse.


Girls Night In at my house last night. I got home around 6pm and my friend Abby came over since her hubby was in the feild for the weekend. We ordered pizza and watched movies. I was gonna make us popcorn but we were full from the pizza. We watched Serindipity, The Last Kiss and Love Actually. They are all great movies. Has everyone else saw them. They are oldie ones but I like them. It was fun hangingout with her. I miss having girl night ins. :)

So Very Sweet:

Today Chuck made me have a big smile as we were talking oline. He said that they had sang a song for Kareoke Night in Iraq so he sang me a song. He said that it was dedicated to my sweet wife Amy. He sang Where Ever You Go by the Calling. That was very sweet of him to sing that to me. He loves Kareoke. He said he was nervous at first when he got up there but he was better after. That is one of his favorite things to when he is in the states to sing. I am glad that he fun with the other soldiers singing songs.

HouseHold Baggage The Moving Life Of A Soldiers WIfe by Marna A. Krajeski was a great book. It made me laugh. She she shared so many great stories of all the times that she PCSed. Some of the ups and downs. I can say that I could relate to some of the stories that she shared. Has anyone else read this book.

She even had some helpful military vocab words. I knew what most of the words were but some I didnt.

Halloween

Today my friend Rhonda called me and wanted to go and see Halloween so I told her that I would go with her. I thought that movie was okay. It was how Michael Myers became a murderer. That movie had some really gross parts and scared the you know what out of me. I closed my eyes a lot so I couldnt tell you the whole movie. It just wasnt my kind of movie to see.

Camoflaudge Hershy Kisses

I found Camoflaudge Hershy Kisses the other day at the Commensary. I got excited when I saw them. I think thats neat that they had them there. I love chocolate especially Hershy Kisses so I bought 3 bags of them. Chuck thought it was neat to when I told him about the Hershy Kisses. Just wanted to share them with all of you.

Sunday Checkin

Well I havent done anything productive this weekend just bummed around. I watched the Ugly Betty Marathon yesterday on ABC Family. I love that show and I was happy that I was able to see the whole first season. I missed some of it being in Germany last year. I also read and had tortellini yesterday for dinner. Instead of putting speggehetti sauce I put Olive Oil, Butter and parmesan cheese on it. That made it really yummy.

Then today I am watching Crime shows on the Hallmark channel and reading to. I am still reading and hoepfully by next week I will be done with the book. I also talked to my mom to and my friend Liz. They both call me up a lot to check in with me and keep me company since Chucks been gone. I appreciate it when they do it. I dont have anything else planned for today just gonna watch the Hallmark channel. I also got to talk to Chuck today after a week of not hearing from him it was great to see him online and chat. We also webcamed to. I turned mine on so he can see me. Chuck also called me today to it was great that we got to chat online and talk on the phone. I guess it was a good day for me. :) Tonight I am eating leftovers and trying sweet delights for desert. Its also the new season of Cold Case so I am gonna watch that to.

I was having a bad day today and not feeling that good but I cheered up when I got to talk to Chuck. He came online around 4 and we got to talk until 5. He said that he has a yucky cold and his lower back hurts to but other than that hes doing good. :) He emailed me some pictures to. Heres a few of them.

Plans Changed for this weekend. :(

My mom and my Aunt and my Uncle were suppose to come and visit me this weekend. Well plans changed now. They were starting on the road today and my Uncle got sick. So they had to turn around and go back home. I was looking forward to hangingout with them. They are gonna try and come down the first weekend of October. So I hope that date will work out. Excited For The Weekend :)

Well I am happy that this weekend isnt gonna be boring. My Mom, Aunt Micki and my Uncle Dave are coming to visit me. They were suppose to come today but my mom had to work. So they are coming tomorrow and staying until Tuesday. Its gonna be great to have some company at my house. I love having our family and friends come and visit. :) I am not sure what we are gonna do tomorrow night. I think we are just gonna go out to dinner. Then maybe the beach on Sunday and not sure what we will do on Monday yet. I hope for us to have a nice weekend and nice weather to. I will try and check in this weekend with pictures. Its official I got a email from the FRG after the 15th no more sending letters and mail. I talked to Chuck today and he said to say thank you to everyone that sent him a letter or a package. He greatly appreciated it and kept his spirits up. They should be home next month before Halloween. :)

Falling In Love With The Girl Next Door

Falling In Love With The Girl Next Door was a really cute movie that I watched today on Hallmark. It was really sweet. Its about this girl and guy that parents live next door to each other and the mothers are always in competition, They try to plan their wedding and both of the moms want it a certain way. Its ends up being good. I dont want to ruin anything.

Summer 2007

I had a fun summer. It was good to be back in the states and I am getting use to being back at Ft Bragg to. I got to go shopping and see lots of cool movies with Rhonda. We also went out for lunch. I was happy to have her this deployment she kept me busy.
My parents kept me busy to and I am thankful to them. We went to Writesville Beach for the day even know it was rainy we still had fun. Then they took me and Sabrina to NY for 3 weeks and I had so much fun there. I got to see my family and Chucks family to. I also got to hangout with my friends in NY. I got to go to my family reunion and that was fun to. I got to see all of my family from all over the states. It was at my Aunt Doris's house. Then my parents took me and Sabrina back to NC. We stayed at the Super 8 for the night in Virgina and I will never forget how unhappy my cat was there. She cried the whole night. It drove me insane and I got no sleep but I love her anyways. She was just a unhappy customer there. My parents and I went on a boat cruise in Wilmington and that was fun. We also went and saw a movie to. I am thankful to my parents for keeping me busy.
The rest of my summer was fun because I am starting to read now and gonna scrapbook again also.

The World According To Mr. Rogers Important Things To Remember

The World According to Mister Rogers by Fred Rogers. This book was really good. It had great little stories in there and inspirations. I enjoyed this book very much. He shared some stories about his childhood and his kids and grandkids to. He said that life is wonderful and he is right.. Thank you Aunt Nancy for the book. :)

Naughty girl

Lately Sabrina has been naughty she has been testing me lately in the kitchen by getting on the counter. I am not sure why she is starting to do it but it annoys me. She thinks she being funny and sometimes is she is but I just dont like her where I cook my food. I have a squirt gun that my friends little boy gave me to use. I havent had to use it here because when I walk over to her she gets off. I guess shes trying to get her own snack because I wont give her one when she wants it. :) Is it just Sabrina thats naughty or is other peoples cats like that to. I am just wondering.....I do think the pic is cute but I just wish she would not do that.

Making New Friends

Making new friends is part of Army life. I met Abby she lives next door to me. Shes really nice. We chatted for awhile and then we went to Walmart and got some groceries and had lunch at Blimpies. Blimpies is a sub place its okay. We both bought movies to. I bought Delta Farce and she bought a scary one. Its nice to have friends and its great that she lives next door to me. Everyone knows me knows that I am shy but after we chatted for awhile I talked to much. Her hubby is a MP which is cool. We had lunch at my house and she got to meet Sabrina... I was suprized my cat wasnt afraid of her she really liked her. She sat in the dining room the whole time while we were eating. I can say that I am happy to have another friend. Friends are great. :)

Sound Of Music

Sound Of Music is one of my favorite movies. It was on all weekend on the ABC Family channel. I think its a great movie even if its a classical one. :) I love the songs that they sing on there. Julie Andrews does such a great job on there. Her movies are the best. :)

Under The Sabers The Unwritten Code Of The Army Wives

I actually finished Under The Sabers The Unwritten Code Of The Army Wives. . It was a really good book . At first when I read it I thought it was gonna be boring but it got better. The story takes place back in 2001-2002 when the murders happen. The story is of the strong Army Wives and what everyone of them went through raising their families and being strong for their husband. It was a really good read. Has anyone else read it what do you all think of it. I cant wait to read another book. Reading is fun and is helping a lot through this deployment.

Thank goodness its Friday the week seem to go by kind of fast. I got stuff done around the house and we finally got some rain this week to which is good. The rain helped our grass because it was so brown now its green again. I got to talk to Chuck online on Wenesday and today he said that hes doing good. Hes back at the other camp now and they are just chillingout for awhile there before they move on again. I am doing good and still reading Under The Sabers the book is really good it reminds of the tv show Army Wives. I got some other new books to read when I get done with this one. My goal for this book is to be done by October 1rst. I am making a little goal for myself so hopefully I can do it.

Continued Prayers For Chuck And His Troop. :)

Please keep Chuck and his troop continued in your prayers as they are moving on to another camp for a couple of months. Their time is winding down and they are gonna be home very soon. I got the date which made me happy and made me sad to. A few of my friends here are mad at me that Chuck didnt do a full tour like his Unit. I am just happy to have him home, safe and back in my arms again. To me a deployment is a deployment and I still miss my hubby as much as they miss theirs. We just came from Germany and he got the unit that was almost done with their tour. I am not sure why I let that bother me but I do. Just keep them in your prayers for a safe return back to their familes. Oh I finally found out who my FRG is. I am so happy they seem like nice girls. Also please keep the families that lost their loved ones over there. I got some emails this weekend for some soldiers that were killed. Thank you everyone. :)

Thank You For The Prayers

Hi everyone thank you for the prayers for my Aunt Jane. She went into the hospital for rebraking her wrist, and fluid in her heart and she also had septemicima to. All of our prayers helped her and she was feeling so much better today. My mom went and visited her and she said that shes feeling better and she was very hungry. She was also being funny to and said that she wanted a steak. As you know in the hospital they arent gonna give her a steak so she probroblay got chicken or something else. So please keep her in your coninuted prayers to feel better and to get her strengh back. Thank you everyone,

Digital Cameras

What kind of digital cameras does everyone have? I love my new Kodak and it does take great pictures but what kind does everyone have. I noticed that some other people have better quality pictures than mine. I got a new one a couple of months ago from Amazon. Its 6.1 Kodak. It uses rechargable batteries or AA ones. Its just a question that I have.
I love taking pictures but I know that lately my blog hasnt had that many pictures because I have nothing to take pictures of and I know that makes my blogs boring. Chuck got me a canon last christmas which takes great pictures to but I couldnt find the charger for it and the picture thing to. My mom found those 2 things for my Canon camera and that one works now. :)
Chuck has a digital camera that he got the first time he went to the Sandbox a few years ago. Its a wierd name brand on it. It seems to work great for him its a 6.1 to. Chuck loves to take pictures also.

Take Home Chef

Take Home Chef is one of my new favorite shows. Its comes on during the week on TLC. Its a fun show to watch. Its a chef that is from Australia that goes to a grocery store and finds someone that is grocery shopping. He helps her make a meal for someone special such as their hubbys, best friend, boy friend or anyone..He walks around the grocery store with them and he buys the grocerys. The he goes home with her and they cook a really good meal. They made Greek, Italian, Chinese and Midwest cooking last week. Some of the meals looked yummy. I got some yummy recipes from the show to cook when Chuck comes home. The best is when they suprize the person the meal is for. Its really cool.

Updates on Aunt Jane and Grandma H.

Thanks everyone keeping them in your prayers. I got some news on Aunt Jane that she isnt doing that good. Her heart valve isnt working right and that she is hooked up to Oxgyen. She started off doing well there but now going down hill. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

I havent heard any news on Grandma H so I think that she might be doing okay. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers to.

Some Prayers Please

My parents called me and said that my dads aunt is in the hospital. Her name is Aunt Jane. She fell down and broke her wrist and hit her head pretty hard. The doctor said she was okay all of her xrays came back clear. Shes having spells which isnt good. The doctor is gonna move her to another place soon so she can get her energy built back up. Please keep her in your thoughts to start to feel better.

Weekend Checkin

I had a good weekend. On Friday I got to spend the day with my friend Rhonda and we met some girls from our army wife group that we belong to. We had lunch at Olive Garden so yummy. Then Rhonda and I went to the mall and went shopping so she could get a couple dresses for her brother in laws wedding. She made out great and found 2 dresses. I was looking to but I didnt buy any dresses just a snack at the mall. Okay so I am sad person I like pretzis with cheese. Then we went to Kohls and I got some picture frames. I love pictures. :) I got a cute cat frame so I am gonna take a picture of Sabrina for it. I also bought Chuck a new collar shirt it was on sale and its really nice. Then she was getting some picture frames to off of her brother in laws wedding check list. Then we were both tired from shopping all day and she dropped me off of at home. I didnt do anything fun at night time just hungout with Sabrina and watched tv. I cant wait for the new line up of shows to come on. :)

Then yesterday and today I didnt do anything just relaxed and bummed around the house. My weekends are ushally boring since I back in NC. In a few weeks around September 14th my Aunt and Uncle are going to come down and visit me. I will be happy. I love visitors. Tonight I am looking forward to watching Army Wives I love that show. Its almost over already now. I cant wait for the new season of it.
