Today is Flag Day

The oldest existing flag maker in the world, Armin & Company, located in New Jersy, has been producing flags since the 1820's. An Amin Flag was:

. At the 1849 inauguration of President Zachary Taylor and at every inauguration since.

. At Abraham Lincoln's funeral in 1865, draping the president's casket.

. With Robert E. Perry on his expidition to the North Pole in 1909.

.With the marines on the Ima Jima in 1945.

. On the Apollo 11 mission to the noon in 1969.
