TGIF From your Furry Friend Sabrina :)

Hi everyone I havent blogged for awhile because I have been busy looking out the window at all the birds and the bunny rabbits. They are all over my yard and I enjoy watching them. You know what happened to me a couple days ago my daddy was chasing me around the dining room table because he wanted me to wear a collor. He kept trying to get me but I was to fast for him. Mom couldnt stop laughing at us and my grandma to. So finally he got down on the floor with me and pretented he was gonna give me a backrub like my mommy does and he grabbed me and had grandpa hold me and finally got the blue collar on me. Its okay to wear but I keep trying to take it off. I wish that I didnt have to wear it but my daddy said that if I should of ever sneak out the door and get outside that they could find me. Mommy said that I need a microchip to but the vet told us no but mommy said that she would feel better if I had one anyways. Does any of my furry friends have to wear annoying collors.

My parents left today

My parents left this morning we took them to the airport around 8:00 because their plane was gonna be leaving at 10:50am. They had a great time with us. They said that we were a lot fun. They enjoyed going to Italy with us and going on the Rhein Cruise and seeing the Hiedelburg Castle and going downtown shopping and just being with us. That made us feel good. We kept them busy the whole time they were here. I miss them and they have only been gone for almost a day. They also got to meet our Sabrina. She really liked my parents. Well as I am blogging this to all of you who read it my parents are waiting for their next plane in Montreal to go to NY at 330pm. We told my parents that we are gonna try and come home for Christmas since we havent saw our family since last June and we miss them all.

For desert we had Speggetti Ice

We took my parents to for Speggetti Ice Cream yesterday. Thats one of me and Chucks favorite icecreams to have here in Germany. So we wanted my parents to try them. They got theres split in half and me and Chuck shared one since it was really big. They enjoyed the icecream very much. Before we got the ice cream my mom asked me if it was really speggetti on top of icecream. I thought that was to funny. I explained to her what it was and she said oh okay.

My parents last meal in Germany

We took them to Ronneburg Castle for there last meal here. We had some wine and then ate our dinner. The highlight of our dinner was watching Chuck eat Snails very gross. Thats what my parents and I both said to that. I put a picture of them in there. They had some cream sauce on them but Chuck said they were really yummy. Then we took a walk around the castle and saw the peacocks and the valley from the top of the hill. My parents really enjoyed there dinner there.:)

My Parents last day in Germany

My parents last day in Germany was yesterday we took them for Donner Kebabs one of Chucks favorite meals. He said that they had to try them before they left so we went to Erlansee and had them. Then we went downtown shopping and they got to see the Fruit market and they really enjoyed that. They said that the veggies looked really good. Then we walked down the side street and they got to see the church that had its top blowen off during World War 11. This nice lady let us come in and check it out and they a little museum there which was very neat to see. Then they were tired so we finished shopping my mom and me went into shoe store and we both got a pair of sandals. Then they went to the Euro store and got some Germany stuff for my brother and my uncle and my little cousins.
We also took them to the Hanau Palace it was really pretty. Then we went to Walmart and my parents got some wine to bring home and they bought some candy to. My moms mouth opened up wide when she had to pack her own bag there. She diddnt know that she had to do that. It was a kodak moment which I could of got her picture.
After that we went to the Petstore because Chuck wanted to get Sabrina a new brush for her hair.

The Hiedelburg Castle

We took my parents to Hiedelburg Castle yesterday and they had a lot of fun there. We stopped for lunch and then headed for the castle. We got to tour of all of Hiedelburg because we got lost trying to find it. We finally found it and took a long walk up this huge hill and it was neat seeing it.

The Rhine Cruise

On Monday Chuck and I took my parents on the Rhine Cruise we went from Bingan to to Koblenz and took the train back to Bingan. The cruise was about 4hrs. We all enjoyed sitting and relaxing and taking pictures and having a couple of drinks. It was a fun day for all of us.:)

Our Roman adventure

We had a lot of fun on our trip to Rome we stayed there for 4 days. We saw so much and did a lot of neat things to. We stayed at a nice little bed and breakfast called the Jewish Ghetto. The couple that ran it were really nice and gave us breakfast every morning which was rolls and toast and juice to. Our first day began on Thursday Morning.

Thursday-we walked around the Jewish Ghetto and saw the oldest Christian Church in Rome. Then we walked around the Campo Di Fiori and we saw some the fruit markets and the little vendors on the side that had sun glasses and stuff. My mom got so excited when she saw the guy with the purses. She got a green purse for 20 Euros. She loves to buy purses. She was so happy with it. Then we went to the castle of San Angelo. That was neat but there was a lot of stairs in there. I was so happy that it didnt have 523 stairs like St Peters Dome last year. That wouldnt be good for me if there was. I do horrible at hiking up a lot of stairs. If anyone remembers my story about that last year. Then we went and saw the Fountain of Trevi which is really pretty. Theres a story about that if you throw a coin backwards your gonna come back to Rome again. Then we walked back to the Ghetto it was a long walk and we were all tired and grumpy but happy after we ate dinner . Then we went back to our rooms and relaxed and went to sleep because we were all tired.

Friday- morning we were up early again and had breakfast then we went to St Peters Basilica and The Vatican and then we had lunch at the cafeteria and did a little bit of shopping around that area and my mom and I got some suvineers for us and for other people to. Then we took a bus to The Hard Rock Cafe for dinner and that was so nice for us because it was air conditoned. After dinner and desert we took some pictures and walked to the bus to go back to our bed and breakfast. Well the only thing bad that happened was my dads digital camera was stolen from his bag. It was a crowded bus so we didnt even know until Saturday about that. We all felt bad for him.

Saturday- We went to the Spanish Stairs and the Catacombs and had speggetti in Campo De Fiori.

Today we came back and are all tired and just doing laundry and watching tv. We took my dad to the PX and he got a new Kodak Digital camera 3.2 and hes very happy with it. Hes gonna use it for the rest of our trip. Heres some of the pictures. I hope that you enjoy them.

Off to Rome today

Well I will be back on Sunday with pictures and stuff of our trip there. Our plane leaves later this evening at 1900 from Frankfurt Hahn and we are going to be at Rome CIA at 2200. Since its so late when we get there my parents got us a driver to pick us up to take us to the Best Comfort Bed and Breakfast. I hope that all of you have a wonderful week.

The World Travelers are here

My parents the world travelers are here in Germany. They got here early this morning. They came back to our house and took a nap for awhile and then we went on post to Subway and had a light lunch and then we did some shopping and my mom needed some stuff that she forgot to pack. Then we took them to walmart and then we went and saw Ronneburg Castle and then went and had dinner at Gasthaous which is really good resturant near our house. Now we are home for the night and they are trying to stay awake but its hard for them because they are really tired. Tomorrow we are off to Rome until Sunday. Any tips for my parents so they arent so tired in Italy.

Would you keep them in your today

Would everyone keep my parents in their thoughts today for a safe flight to Germany. They are leaving from LaGordia Airport in NY to Montreal Canada and then into Frankfurt. I am just a worry wart and I know that they will be good but I just worry because they are taking a airplane. I am not big on airplanes. Thanks so much...:)

Saturday Checking in

Well today since Chuck got put on Staff duty I went dowtown shopping with my friend CeCe she was father day shopping for her hubby. We had lunch at Pizza Hut and then went to a few stores and the gun store to. She got him a cross bow. I bought a summer dress. I havent wore a dress a couple of years so its gonna be a new for me to wear one. I got a black one. I also bought Chuck some tank tops to. Now I am just working on my house for parents arrival on Tuesday. I havent saw them for a year its gonna be great to see them. They are our third house guest to come to Germany to visit. Last summer Chucks parents came and we had a lot of fun them here. Then the year before my friend Elizabeth came and visited and we had fun with her to.

The New ACU's

Well Chuck came back from JMRC last week and found out that they dont dry clean BDU's anymore so he went and bought the new ACU's because he didnt want to iron his uniforms. His unit isnt gonna start to wear them until August or Septmeber before they go to Russia for training. A few of the soldiers are wearing them now so he started to he said that they look like pajamas but I think they look great on him. Does anyone elses hubbies think they look like PJ's to.

Today when I went downtown shopping with my friends I bought a new pair of shoes..They are comfy I bought a pair of pink shoes that are like the birkinstock shoes. I also have a pair of brown ones to..Well my friend she told me they look like nursing shoes. What do you all think especially my shoe lover friends..Are they cute or do they look like nursing shoes. I am still gonna wear them even if they do I just want to know what you all think..

Congratulations to my Mom

Its a big suprize I am so happy and excited for her she took her Nursing exam this weekend in Alabany NY. It was a weekend test she had to be watched and stuff and she did great..She told me that he was going to Washington DC with her friend Mary for the weekend to visit Marys Family. She wanted to keep it a suprize so if she didnt pass she didnt have to tell everyone..Shes a smart lady and I am so proud of her..Now shes a graduation Nurse. When her and my dad come back from visiting me and Chuck in Germany shes gonna go to the boards and finish..After all of that shes gonna be a RN..

went to a going away party today for Rayann, John, Max and Nina and Fetus Sam at the Indian Restrurant in Mulleheim. You all have been great friends to me and Chuck and we are gonna miss you all. We are hoping to be stationed in Colorado or even and come and visit....Stay safe and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers..
