Deployment Day

Our Deployment Day is here. Chuck and his soldiers left early this morning for Iraq. We knew about this day for a long time but I still wished this day didnt come. Its gonna be a year long which is gonna stink but I hope that it goes fast. We got some pics they arent the best pics because it was so cold and windy and I was teary eyed. I was happy that I got some. I am so proud of Chuck and hes so brave.

Operation At Ease

Operation At Ease was something that these people set up for the miltary and their families. We got to stay in a really nice condo with our friends Jeanette and Jeff for the weekend. It was a free and we got to golf, swim and cayack. We got to eat breakfast for free on Saturday and Sunday at Surfers. The food was pretty good. We got to see the sights around St James plantation and then around Southport. It was right by the ocean and it was so pretty. Our condo was really nice. The lady that showed us around gave us a tour and made a sign for Chuck and Jeff. Her son use to be in the Marines so she was so apprecative of the miltiary. The weather wasnt that cooperative but we made the best of it.

Friday we got there and it was sunny so we got to take pics and we saw Twilight since it was free.

Saturday it rained but we took the car over on the ferry to Ft Fisher. We went to the NC Aquarium. It wasnt that big in there but still neat to see. Then we went around town and saw all the neat stores. We went to a really nice Christmas store. I loved it and I wished that we could of taken pics. I got a few pics on the outside but it was rainy and I didnt want to ruin my camera.

Sunday was our last day and we ate breakfast and then went to Caswell Beach and got some pics and walked up and down it. Then we headed home. We had a fun day.

It was a nice and relaxing weekend. I want to share all my pics with you guys. Does anyone know how to share a slide show on blogger.

December Dates

Well this isnt gonna be a busy month but theres a few dates that are coming up. This is also the month that Chuck is leaving we got the date and day. I cant post on here but when he leaves I will let everyone knows.

Dec 1-Hangingout with our friend Casie and getting errands and done and stuff before he deploys. We also got the Pedi Paws but Sabrina dosent like it. So hopefully we can use it on her. Chuck got excited when he saw it at walmart today.

December 2-Chucks got CQ

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our wonderful family and friends. We hope that you all have a wonderful fun and safe day. Today Chuck and I are gonna go to our friends house for Thanksgiving lunch yummy. Shes making all the trimmings and we are bringing our yummy pumpkin cheesecake. Today we watched the Macys Day Parade and now watching I Love Lucy on TV Land until we go. Have a great day,

This Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving I am so many things to be thankful for even know our year wasnt all good we had many great things happen to. The main thing we were able to be with each other which we both happy because we knew he was deploying in January.

I am thankful to have a wonderful soldier home this Thanksgiving. We both thought he was going to be gone but hes still here which is awesome. We are gonna enjoy being with each other tomorrow and for the rest of the time he has here before he deploys.

I am thankful for our family. We have such a wonderful family on both of our sides. We love them all dearly.

I am thankful for our friends that we have everywhere and the ones that I havent met yet and talk to online. You guys are all great. Thanks for being there for me.......:)

I am thankful for all the miltiary serving our country and putting their lives on the line for the rest of us.

I am thankful for all the fire fighters, police officers, the Ambulance people with out them what we would we do.

Favorite deserts at Thanksgiving

What is everyones favorite deserts at Thanksgiving. I love chocolate pudding pie, pumpkin pies and pumpkin cheesecakes. This year we are gonna go to our friends house for Thanksgiving and we are bring pumpkin swirl cheesecake. Its really yummy and we made it last year also.

Hobbies

Everyone has hobbies and things they do to keep them busy while their soldiers are deployed or just for fun. I was thinking of somethings to do while Chuck is gone. Hes leaving real soon but I can't say because of opsec. I was thinking of getting in to photography since I love to take pictures. I have a good camera but I want a DSRL one. I saw a few on amazon that I like and arent priced badly. I am also gonna start scrapbooking again and make beaded jewerly. One of my friends do that and she said that its fun. I hope that I can stick with all of them because I know it will be fun. I also want to start crocheting again because that will be fun.

Why do people steal?

Yes this is gonna be a vent and grumpy blog. I know I have been having a few of them lately. I am sorry about that.

Today my friend Jeanette and I went to walmart and I went and got cash out. When I went to get my atm card out I noticed a empty spot in my wallet. At first I couldnt figure out what card was missing and I finally relized it was my Miltary star card. I feel dumb that I didnt noticed it all weekend missing. I had such a fit in walmart over it. I called Chuck and he cancelled it. I was just really mad and then the photography guy got gumpy with me because I went and picked up the christmas cards. He said that they werent ready yet. He wanted my receit for it and I said that I left it at home. That made him mad too. Then the lady remembered me making them so she stuck up for us. I am thankful she did because I was in a grumpy mood. I think they took it at Sports USA at Ft bragg. Chuck loves to sing Karaoke there. I am never ever gonna bring my purse in there again. Its sad to think that some associated with the military would steal from me. I still cant figure out why they just that card and not my atm cards or my cash.

Fake Friends

So lately people think that I am a fake friend which I dont understand. I do so much for everyone and help everyone out. Then they say I am fake. I am real and Chuck saids that I am a awesome friend to have. If anyone knows me knows that I am pushover. It just hurts that certain people think of me like that. I have a few true friends here but I am begining not to let my guard down because I dont like to be hurt. I have a friend that pushed me away and dosent even chat with anymore. She used to only Im me when she wanted something which that hurt. I made her a cake for her birthday and she didnt want it. I hope that I can make it through a year at Ft Bragg with out my best friend. :( Has anyone else been through this before.

Some updates

Here our some little updates that are going on Chucks date for him deploying has been changed again. I am not sure if its true but hes gonna be home for Thanksgiving. That could change again but it will be great to have him home with me. So we bought a little Turkey, red potatos so Chuck can make his famous smashed potatos yummy. Hes also gonna make his pumpkin cheesecake to.

Chucks court case got stteled now. After 6 months its been setteled. Chuck did lose his liscese for a year because of the misameandor. He dosent get any restrictions the law said that if he got a DWI or a DUI he would of gotten restrictions to drive to work and back. I dont understand the law because Chuck didnt have any alcholol on him when it happened. We cant worry about it so our neighbor is taking him to work in the morning since hes got to be in the same time as him. Which is helpful to me so I dont have to get up early.

Happy Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day to everyone that served our country and defended our freedom. Your all in my thoughts today. I know so many vets and I am proud to have them as my family and my friends too.

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to me and Chuck. Todays our 7 year anniversary. We are so happy that we get to be together to celebrate it.

We dont have much planned for today. Tonight we are going to a going away party that my friend is having for Chuck and someone around the same time as Chuck for overseas. Its going to be a fun night.

Billy Ray Cyrus Concert

R0cky Lynn and I. He was a former soldier from FtBragg.

Yesterday on the 8th of November we went and saw Billy Ray Cyrus., Bo Brice, Josh Gracin, Rocky Lynn and the 82nd Choir they sang for Veterans. There was also a dedication of a painting for the fallen soldiers of the 173d Airborne Soldiers that lost their lives in Veitam on 8, November 1965. We had great seats and enjoyed the show.

82d Airborne Choir-Were one of the opening acts for Billy Ray Cyrus and they did awesome. They sang a lot of great songs. My favorite was when they sang the 82nd Airborne theme song what they do before they jumped.

Rocky Lynn-Was another opening act and he did great. He was a former soldier from Ft Bragg. He said that he loves to sing for the troops and family members. He sang a bunch of great songs. Then after he got done singing we got to meet him. He was such a nice guy. He took the time out to meet with everyone. He talked with Chuck and said thank you for serving. He also told me thank you for all the sacrifices too. He autographed my heart and he even did a picture with me. He did it twice because the first time my eyes were closed. He was my favorite.

Josh Gracin- He was a former Marine and was on American Idol. He did a great show and sang great songs to.

Bo Brice- His dad was in the Marines when he was younger. He sang so many great songs too. He sang a song called Red White and Blue and dedicated it to all the troops past and present. That song was really sad.

Billy Ray Cyrus did a great job too. He sang all his classics and some new ones to. He let all the Veterans on stage with their family members and sang Some Gave All. He also sang Achy Breaky Heart. I love that song even know its old.

It was a great show and I am happy that all these singers took the time out and sang for everyone.

I Love Lucy

I love Lucy its one of my favorite tv shows. Even know its a older show I still love to watch her. She always makes me laugh and when I am having a blah day I just turn her on and watch it. I think her show is one of the best shows to watch. Today has been a blah day for me because of my allergies and other things going on so I turned her on. It was one of my favorite ones when they were trapped in the cabin and all wanted her sandwhich. I am thinking of getting her box set sometime.

Happy Election Day and Happy Anniversary

Its Tuesday the 4th and its Election Day. I hope that everyone is going to get out and vote today. Chuck and I are gonna go and vote in a little while.

Happy Halloween I hope that everyone has a fun and safe day. Chuck had a half day today so we are just gonna go to Halloween party/Going away party for him. My friend Jeanette is gonna throw it for him. Shes a sweet friend. :) Chucks gonna look for our Halloween costumes in the garage to. If we can find them I will post a pic. Everyone will get a big laugh when they see them.

Wierd weather

We are having some wierd weather this year because it went warm to cold over night. This has been a cold fall for us in NC. It goes down to the 30s at night time and everything. We even had a frost last night. I have a bad feeling that we are gonna have a cold winter. Last year it was in the 70s and 80s. Now we are freezing are butts off. Chuck and I are both from NY you think we would like the cold weather we dont like it. Chuck said the only the only thing that he likes about NY when its cold is that he can go sking. My parents said that they already got snow in NY. My friend Liz sent me pics of it there. Thats one thing about NC is that it dosent snow only a little bit. Is everyone else having wierd weather where they are.

Time is going by to fast

Well Chuck is leaving for a another deployment soon which stinks. It feels like Chuck just got home 2008 is going by fast. I hope that 2009 will to so I can have him back in my arms again. Hes still here we got a few fun things planned before he leaves and we get to celebrate our 7 year anniversary which is awesome. I have been blessed to have him home for our anniversaries. We are also gonna get to celebrate Thanksgiving together to. He is gonna be leaving soon after that which makes me sad. I know that I got some awesome family and friends that will help me through this long deployment which will be great. I wanted to go home for the year that he would be gone but Chuck dosent want me to. He dosent want to lose our house which is true so I decided to make the best of it here at Ft Bragg. I just want him to be safe there. I already started to worry about him which is wrong I know but I want him to be safe. I have already started to stress out about it. I am trying not to but I am.

Chucks birthday pics :)

Chuck and I had a great time on his birthday we went to Applebees and then we did a little bit of shopping and then came home and had cake. It was great to beable to celebrate his 34th birthday with him. For his birthday he got the Wii Fit for our Wii and we both love it. Its a lot of fun and hopefully it will help us both get in shape. He wanted the Wii sports to but we arent having any luck finding it. I know that you get the game with the new one but we got a used one while in NY and it didnt have that game. :(

Marriage Retreat @ Myrtle Beach

Chuck and I went on a Marriage Retreat this weekend. Chucks units Chaplins had it for us. It was really nice we got to learn about the 5 love languages. We learned about the 5 love languages a few years ago but it was great to talk about it with him. We learned what both of ours was and to fill each other love tanks up. There was 5 Chaplins and each one of them talked about their love language and what works for them and their wives. We got to meet other couples to and all of us getting ready for the brigade deployment coming up next mont. I enjoyed this time very much with CHuck and he enjoyed it to.

We stayed at the Ocean Dunes and our room was paid for and 3 of our meals to. We had a Ocean view from our room which was really pretty. When we werent doing the classes we got to spend time and have fun with each other.

On Friday night after the class we went to the hotel bar Mangos and Chuck sang Kareoke. He sang I cant help falling in love and I cross my heart. He was being a sweetheart to me.

On Saturday after the classes we had a whole day to be with each other was really nice. We went to Broadway By The Beach and walked around the boardwalk and th en we went to Medevil Times for a dinner and a show. We had so much fun watching it and eating the yummy food to. We definitely want to go back again. Then we got back to the hotel and Chuck sang Kareoke again.

On Sunday Morning we did a few pic from our deck again since it was sunny and then we went and did the class. After the class we were released in the morning and we went to Barefoot Landing and had lunch at Joes Crab Shack and did some shopping. Then we drove home. We had so much fun this weekend.

Conflictions with Lawyers

Well after getting back to NY last week Chuck got 2 letters in the mail from his lawyer that there is a conflict now. The conflict is that he wrote the will for Mr Black 2 years ago. So now he cant be Chucks lawyer but he gave Chuck a new number for a lawyer in Fayetteville. Hes gonna refund the money back to Chuck and hes gonna give it to the other lawyer. Chuck said that he gonna meet his new lawyer tomorrow at his court case tomorrow. It isnt setteled yet which is good for Chuck because he still has his liscense but hopefully buy the time he leaves for Iraq it is. We just didnt need this added stress to everything else that is going on. Well I come back tomorrow and say what happened.

Our NY adventure

Chuck and I had a great time when we were in NY. It was fun hangingout with our family and friends. We got to shop which we loved because it was tax free on clothes and shoes which is cool. I wish that it was like here in NC. We played Wii with my brother Joe and our friends, Liz and Scott and my brother in law Chris to. After playing Wii Chuck loved it so we actually found one while we were in NY. It was one that was traded in at Gamestop but it was still cool and worked.

We also played team trivia at Flashbacks and Anatellos with Scott, Liz and Chris. It was fun playing trivia even know we didnt know some of the questions. I actually got one question right and I got excited. It was who wrote the book My Life and I said Bill Clinton. I got lots of cool pics at Flashbacks they had some neat stuff there. Anatellos was a Italian resturant.

We also got to eat at yummy resturant called Tullys with Chucks parents and our friends. We also went to Jonathons for Kareoke. I dont sing but Chuck and his brother Chris love to sing. It was fun watching them sing. I cant carry a tune but I sing when I am home cleaning, in the car and in the shower to. LOL

My parents also took us out for dinner to Consols which was really yummy Italian food. We had a great time hanging out with them.

We got to spend time with Chucks grandmas. We went out for lunch with Grandma Fertig to a little diner by her house. The food was yummy there. Then we went to Phills Chicken house for dinner with his grandma Hranek. We had a great time being with both of them.

Then our last weekend in NY we went to Wine Country with our parents. We had a lot of fun going to the different vineyards and trying different wines. Then in the evening we went to Chucks Aunt Nancy and Uncle Garys to hangout.

We also got to spend time with my little cousin Danielle, Mitchell and Samantha. They came over to my moms house and we did crafts with them. They were so cute and said silly things.

My parents through a party for Chuck at the VFW for him deploying soon and for his 34th birthday coming up this week. It was such a nice turn out for him. My family and his family were both there. It was wonderful spending time with all of them. We miss them all.

To top off our vacation we got to hold my new baby cousin Ylaena. She was so cute and only 1 month old. I love babys.

Since I took so many pics while I was home I will just put up one for now and some other ones this week.

Update for Chucks court date

Chucks hearing went well and they post poned it again. I think its good that they are doing that. They are trying to have it work in his favor if he does lose his liscense because hes gonna be deploying anyways. His next court date will be October 9th. Chuck said they will probroblay post pone it again until November before he leaves. Please cross your fingers that they do that. He dosent want to be with out his liscense since he has to work everyday and because he wants to beable to go and see Joe and Cassandra down in Gerogia. We havent saw Joe for a few years. I think it would be great for them to see each other.

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies ever. This is one of my favorite cookie recipes to make. They are so yummy.


4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2(3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups almonds (optional)


Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together the flour and
bakingsoda, set aside.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and
white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir
in eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the
chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfulls
onto ungreased cookie sheets.

3. Bake for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven. Edges should be
golden brown.

So Pretty

I think picture at the NC ZOO a week ago isn't it pretty. Its one of my favorite pics that I took there. Its not of the animals but of the flowers there. Doesn't it look like a professional pic. I think it does. I am starting to get good at photography.

Happy Wenesday

Just wanted to say Happy Wenesday. We havent been up to much this week so far just relaxing at home. Chuck and I have both been stressed out with stuff going on at his Chucks work and with friends and stuff. Well Chuck has CQ today so I have been getting the house picked up and hanging out at home. My friend Jeanette is coming over today and we are gonna go shopping and dinner. I am not gonna be totally bored today. :) I am still reading Shoe Annoymous its a really cute book I am just a slow reader. :)

Bush Gardens Europe

On the skyride we got to see some of the park. It was fun. Do you see the rollercoaster in the background.

The Griffon rollercoaster. This was one was really scary Chuck said. Yesterday Chuck and I had a fun day at Busch Gardens. We got in free for the day because of the website http://www.herosalute.com/ . We had so much fun and it didn't even rain. Its been rainy so much here but I am glad it was a nice day. We went on rollercoasters, 4D rides, and the sea dragon and some other ones to. We got to see the Clysdale horses they were so pretty. We didnt get to see all the neat shows they had there but we got to see the Octoberfest show in Germany and that was neat to see. It reminded us of being at the real Octoberfest in Germany. We also ate lunch in Germany at the Octoberfest. Chuck got to sample some yummy German food so he was happy.

Labor Day plans

For Labor Day this year we are going to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg VA for the day and gonna spend the night there on Friday. On Saturday we want to see some of the town and then come home. On Sunday we are going to our friends daugthers birthday party. Then on Monday we might just bbq some chicken with some of our friends and relax. I just hope that we have nice weather so we can enjoy. I keep checking the weather bug and it saids rain for VA. :( I just hope that it passes over.

NC ZOO

Today Chuck and I spent the day with our friend Jeanette at the zoo. It was such a hot day and a lot of the animals didnt want to come out because it was hot. I didnt blame them. We got some pics. My friend she had a lot of fun which is good. We got to see the giraffes this time because they were inside last April because of the rain. Its was fun watching them. Then we also saw the Eagles to which is cool. Chuck loves Eagles.
Next week for Labor Day we are gonna go to Busch Gardens because we get in for free because of the military. We might spend the night and come back on Saturday. We want to see the town of Williamsburg Virginia to. We heard it was really nice. We are still deciding what to do.

Yay

I am excited I figured how to put a pic of me and Chuck on our blog. I have had this blog for 3 years and still learning how to put extra stuff on there. At least I got that accomplished. Its a pic of me and Chuck outside at the crackerbarrel.

Old Shows

Yes it has been a boring Saturday so I have been watching Old Shows today on TV Land. They are fun to watch. I watched I Love Lucy thats one of my favorites, then Leave it to Beaver, Beverly Hillbilies and then Stanford and Son. I know that watching a lot of tv isnt good but when nobody is around Chuck is gone. I figured that it would be something fun to do. I have also been going through my scrapbooking stuff and gonna start that back up again because I have a lot of cool pics to use. I am also reading to but I am slow reader but the book is really good.

The Moon

The other night I was outside trying to get the sun setting it was really pretty but the trees were blocking it this time. I got a couple pics but they werent that good because it didnt set over the feild. I wanted to try the zoom on my canon and I got a pic of the moon. It didnt come out that good but I hope to get a SRL camera in a few months for our anniversary. They had some good prices on amazon for them. Heres the pic of the moon.

Just some random thoughts

Just sharing some random thoughts that crossed my mind

I thought I had some awesome friends here but lately I have been hurt by them. I am not sure what I did wrong and why nobody wants to hangout with me. I know that Chucks only at JRTC for a few weeks but since hes been gone I had no friends to hangout with. So the time has been dragging which stinks and actually makes me sad. I am the friend if you want someone to hangout with or talk to I am there for you. But yes I need a friends to that I can just chat with. I am not sure if I am gonna make it through a year when Chuck deploys. I am not looking forward to that time and being alone in NC. I thought about going back to NY while Chuck was gone but we would lose our house so that would stink. I am lost of what to do. I just want to be happy. Yes I could get a job but I still would have to come home to a empty house and just my cat. Yes I am a armywife and I knew when I married Chuck that I was marrying a soldier. I love him very much and I support him and the troops. I just want to have friends that want to hangout. Please dont put a mean comment to this random though that I had. I dont need it.

I hate rumors to yes they spread like wild flowers everywhere. I am not sure why anyone likes do to it. Yes they spread rumors to at JRTC. Chuck calls me the other day and said that they might be going to another place instead of the sandbox. If that happens the deployment date will change to. So to make myself feel better and calm I am just gonna wait until I know for sure instead of worrying.

I dont understand why my cat dosent like to sleep at night time. Everynight now since Chucks been gone she comes in our room and crys. I guess she dosent think that I need to sleep. She wants me to get up for her and play with her and give her treats. She just wants attention. Well I dont mind giving her attention and stuff but when I am sleeping I dont want to be bothered by her.

On Saturday night we had a storm. The sky was pink to and I thought it looked neat so I ran outside and got a pic of it. I could of got more pics of it but it was still storming when I got it. I think that it looks cool. Its the feild behind my house.

Sunday Checkin

Happy Sunday I dont have much going on today just hangingout with Sabrina Kitty. We are watching Law and Order on USA. I havent been up to much because sadly I am finding out that some of my friends here just use me. :( I am not sure why the only time the IM me is when they want me or Chuck to do something for them. If I try to just Im they dont want to talk to me which makes me sad. Oh I got some great friends here that I wouldnt trade for the world but some of them just make me upset. Its just a vent blog so if you dont want to read it you dont have to. :(

My funny cat

Yes I have a funny cat and her name is Sabrina. She was going nuts earlier when my friend Jeanette brought over Sally cat. She thought that Sabrina could use a plate mate. Well Sally isnt real but Sabrina thought she was. I couldnt stop laughing at her because she kept checking her out like she was.

Just another Tuesday

Chuck left for JRTC on Saturday until the 22nd of August. JRTC means Joint Readyness Training Center and its at Ft Polk Lousianna. Hes there for training that will help him and his unit before they deploy in November. I didnt want him to go but its a month it could be worst for us. We had such a fun month of going places and being with each other and seeing our parents. I didnt want July to end. He gets another block leave in September before they leave in November.
Since hes been gone and I have been going through vacation pics to send to our families and put in our photo albums and scrapbooks to. Today the guy came out and sprayed for ants. He said that he couldnt do the ant hills because they didnt give him enough time to. He told me to call housing and tell them about the ant hills and stuff. Ugggh.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Friday and weekend. Well Chuck is getting done early today with work because he leaves for JRTC until August 23rd. Well we might go to Sports USA on post for Kareoke if Chuck dosent have to be at work early tomorrow morning. We have so much fun there because we have great friends to hangout with. Chuck loves to sing to. Last night he sang to me. He sang Cant Help Falling In Love to me. Hes such a sweetheart. Our friend Jeanette took some pics.

July has been

July has been a month of fun and have some of our favorite people come and visit. I wish that this month could of lasted longer. We went and saw the battleship and went to Wrightsville Beach and fun hangingout with each other. Then we got to spend time with his parents and we had lots of fun with them at Myrtle beach. Then my parents were able to come for a few days and I went to Myrtle beach with them for a couple of days. Its been a good month for us. I took lots of pics this month. :) I am very happy that we got to see them. In September we are hoping to go home again to see our parents and our family. We miss them all.

I hate NC bugs and Ants

This is a very grumpy blog about the NC bugs and ants. They all make me so mad and very grumpy. Why do they insist on coming in my house for. I bought some posion for them to kill them but I have to be careful because of Sabrina. I dont want her to get sick. I found yucky ants in Sabrinas food today. I didnt have that problem with them last summer but now they invaded it. I am gonna call housing and have them spray outside and inside. Does anyone have any other ideas to get rid of them before I go insane. Last summer they came to visit me to when Chuck was deployed. They invaded the back bedrooms and bathrooms. Its a never ending story of the unwanted house guest that come in and invade our house. Did I mention that I also have those big brown spiders again but Sabrina eats them for me when she sees them. Okay enough of venting. :( Last summer the guy that sprayed said they like to visit us because our house is cool and we are also right by the feild. That didnt make me feel any better when he told me that.

A Few Myrtle Beach Pics

We had fun spending the day at the beach on Wenesday even know it was windy and the waves were crashing hard. We also got bad sun burns to but thankfully they are healing now.

We ate a late lunch on Tuesday at Broadway By The Beach at Jimmy Buffets Margarittaville. We also had a yummy Margarita. We posed with the big Margarita.

Last Monday when we first got to Myrlte Beach we went to Dixie Stampede. Chuck and I had so much fun. They did a awesome patriotic show and the food was yummy to. Heres a few Myrtle Beach pics. We took over 300 there. I guess sometimes we go picture crazy when we go on vacation. Heres a few of them. More to come soon. :)

Myrtle Beach

Chuck and I and his parents had fun at Myrtle Beach. We did fun stuff everyday while we were there.

We stayed at the Kingston Plantation which was a big motel resort. Our Villa had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, laundry room and a living room and a kitchen. It also had a deck to. We got a few pics of it. The first night we were there we went to the Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede. They did a awesome patriotic show. We had fun there. We went to the Dixie Stampede back in November to for our 6th anniversary and had fun. The one we saw then was a christmas show. That was really good to. If you get a chance to see the Dixie Stampede at Myrtle Beach you should. If you ever been to Medevil times you eat with your hands. They bring out a biscuit first, then veggie soup, chicken, pork loin, potato, and corn on the cob. Then for desert they bring a apple thing. That was good to. After the show we saw the stars of the show which is the horses and they had one named Cece. We thought that was cool. Thats chucks Aunts name also. After the show we went to Kroger and got a few groceries for the house.

Then on Tuesday we had a fun day. After the hotel tour of Sheraton we went to Broadway By the Beach and had a late lunch at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville. The food was okay but they had it set up awesome. I ordered the Cheeseburger in Paradise with fries and they gave me a huge pickle. Chuck got a mushroom burger cant remember the name of it. Then Chuck got a hurricane to drink and I got a Bahama mama which was a yummy drink to. After we got done eating we walked around and looked at the different shops and I went to my favorite store there. I went to the cat store. After we left Broadway By The Beach we went to the Palace Theatre and saw the Circus show. The show was so neat to see.

Wenesday we spent most of the day at the beach since it didnt rain until afternoon. It was so windy there and the waves were crashing hard but I got a few pics. After the beach we went back to the hotel and took showers and then Barefoot Landing. Chuck and I were excited that we got to hold baby tigers. It was so cool to do that. The money went towards the Tiger thing they have there for the Endangered animals. Did you know that the Golden Tabby Tiger is almost extinct. We learned about Tigers there. After holding the baby tigers we went to TBonz for dinner and looked at the shops. Then it started to rain and thundered so we went back to the villa for the night.

Thursday was our last day there we saw the beach and then we went to Ripleys Aquarium. We saw lots of neat fish and animals there. It was cool when we were walking a huge shark went over us. That was a neat place to see.


Chuck and I had a fun block leave tomorrow is his last day to relax and then back to work. Hes got to prepare for JRTC.


I am gonna be going back to Myrtle beach for 2 days with my parents and my Aunt Beth. I am excited about seeing them..

4th of July pics

So far

So far Chuck and I have been having a great block leave before he goes to JRTC. On Wenesday when he started block leave we went to Wrightsville Beach for the day. We saw the USS North Carolina which was so neat to see. There was so much history on that boat and what those Marines and sailors went through on there. We both enjoyed learning history. We took so many pics because it was neat to see. I cant post them all or I would. I dont know how to do a slide show so if someone could tell me that would be great. :)

Then after the battleship we drove over to Wrightsville beach for the day. We sat by the ocean and relaxed. It was a nice day. We took a lot of pics there to. We love to take lots of pictures. :)


Then after the beach we had dinner at Jerry Allens Sports bar and grill right by the ocean and had dinner and sodas and went home.

Then on on Thursday we just relaxed for the day and then went to meet our friends on post at Sports USA for Kareoke. I dont like to sing infront of everyone but Chuck does.

Then on Friday we celebrated the 4th of July with our friends on post. We got to see the canon shoot for all the 50 states and that was neat, we saw some local country music singers and Wynonna Judd. She did a great job and thanked the troops and the family members. She was awesome. We also watched the Golden Knights jump.

Then yesterday we went to our friends barbeque and had a great time hangingout with our friends.

Now today we dont have any big plans just gonna make sure the house looks nice for his parents and got to get last minute errands done before we go to Myrtle Beach tomorrow.

The Chronicles of Narndia Prince Caspian

Today Chuck and I went to see Chronicles of Narndia Prince Caspian. It was a really good movie. Chuck and I enjoyed it. It had action and humor.

The other day after the raining and storming was done there was a pretty sky. The sun came out and starting to set here and I had to get a pic of it. Isnt it pretty. I love sunsets.

Happy Wenesday

Happy Wenesday everyone just wanted to check in with everyone. We dont have anything going on right now. Chucks been busy with work this week they are taking a class on military intelligenance. Its suppose to help them with their training and when they go down range in the fall. :( I am not looking forward to the fall but we knew he was going to be going again anyways. On a happier note we are looking forward to next week when he goes on block leave. We got some fun things planned. :) The weather has been getting getting hot again. Its in the high 80s today but its suppose to be getting hotter soon. :) We also have been getting lots of rain to which is good. Last summer NC was in drought but this year we arent. Our grass is so much greener and growing fast to. They have still water restrictions here but not as bad as last year. :)

Happy Sunday

We havent been up to much this weekend. We just went to our friends house for a bbq yesterday. We had a lot of fun hangingout with everyone. Today we went and got some groceries and Chuck got a haircut. Now we are hanging out relaxing and watching tv. Chucks got to pack for JRTC in July. They got a bag check coming up. Tonight is Army Wives . I cant wait to watch it. :P Yes Chuck even watches it with me but he picks on everyone. :)

Some ideas

I got some ideas for when Chuck goes on block leave next month. We want to have fun so I was thinking of Busch Gardens since we can get in free for the day there. I found out that from one of my friends. I looked at www.saluteourheros.com or something like that. We are definitely gonna have fun when we go. I have only been to Busch Gardens Africa when I was little. He said that he went to Busch Gardens Europe when he was little. They got new rides there and some cool shows to see. We want to see Wynonna Judd on post for the 4th of July. We also want to spend a few days at Myrtle Beach and just relax on the beach. Well I really want to go and see the USS North Carolina since we didnt get to tour it last time. It would be neat to see and it has lots of history there to. I want to do the Ghost tour of Wilmington to. I heard it was neat. We dont have any final plans for his block leave yet. We are still thinking of what to do. We really wanted to go to Florida but that isnt gonna work out for us. Maybe the gas prices will go down in September and we can go on his 2nd block leave.

Ghost on the Battleship North Carolina.

I havent done book reviews for awhile. Ghost on the Battleship North Carolina was a awesome book. Danny the author of the book shares his experiences of his encounters with the ghost aboard the ship. After all the tourist leaves he sleeps on the ship. He saids what it is like to be on there. He had some scary experiences with the ghost. I really enjoyed the book.

Chuck and I and our friend got to meet Danny when we saw the battleship back in March. We didnt get to tour it because it was going to be closing. We got to meet him in the giftshop they had there. He was a nice guy. I had the book since then but I have been a slow reader. I am glad that I finished it today. :)

Happy Saturday

Happy Flag Day everyone. Chuck came today for refit to get some rest and for fathers day to. He goes back to the feild again on Monday until Thursday. So today we just went to Western Sizzler for dinner and then went to walmart and watch the sunset at Lake Rim park. Tonight we are watching movies and relaxing. Chuck got bit by a fireant in the feild and his knee hurts from it and is swollen. He asked the pharmasit at CVS what would be good for it. He gave Chuck some stuff that should work. If it dosent work then hes gonna go to the medic on Monday and get a anitbotic.

I got a trim

I got a trim the other day that turned out to be a hair cut. I told the lady 2 inches and she cut more that that. I was so upset. :( I wish that I didnt go to her. She did my hair so quick and the guy that Chuck had took 25 minutes just for a high and tight. Oh if your wondering where we went to was barber-beauty shop in Raeford. It was a country place. I learned my lesson not to go there anymore. Chuck said it looks great but I know that it isnt even. I just dont want anymore cut off. :( My hair was long but now its short. :( Oh well this turned into a vent blog. Sorry. What do you think of my new hair trim,

I havent done much this weekend? Chucks in the feild so I just watched the whole season of Army Wives Season 1 on lifetime yesterday and stayed cool. It was in the triple digits yesterday and gonna be today to. Today I am just gonna gonna relax and read my book. Tonight is the new season of Army Wives. I cant wait to watch it. :)

Popping in to say hi

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I hope that everyone is doing good. We are doing better now. We both have been stressed out lately but things are starting to looking up for us. We love our new car it good on gas which is important because of the high gas prices. We havent been able to travel that much but looking forward to July when we can. :) We are enjoying the weather to its been warm which is awesome. Now we just got to get on post and go swimming. They have some nice pools there so not sure which one to go to. Sabrina is doing good. She still loves to play and lay in her bed by the window. Shes just to darn cute. Well hope that everyone is doing good.

College Road trip

Yesterday Chuck and I went and saw College Road Trip. It was a funny movie. We laughed the whole way through. It had Donny Osmond in it to. It was playing at the 2 dallor theatre here but it was worth it. :)

Our New Car

Yesterday Chuck and I got a new car. After the month that we have been having and just renting its good to have our own. Its a Toyota Corola 2007. Its suppose to be good on gas and drive good to. Chuck got to drive it yesterday and he said that it drives awesome. Red is a good color to. It has anti theft to which means if someone stold our car that it could be found with in a hour. I hope that we dont have to use that though. Chuck is better at explaing his new car than I am. So if you have any questions just ask him. We cant wait to travel with it this summer and go and visit our families in NY.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I am sorry that I am not much of a blogger anymore. We havent been up to much lately just getting ready for Chucks court date on Thursday. Please keep him in your thoughts for that day. We just want every thing to go well for him. Its just a stressful situation for us. We are still on a look out for a new car to. We really need one because the rental car is killing our account. Hes saw a few cars that he likes but hes not sure. We are gonna do a fun vacation this summer when he goes on leave. We were gonna go to Florida but that isnt gonan work out for us. So we are thinking of going to Myrle Beach and going to the Hard Rock Park. We also want to go to Busch Gardens in Virgina to because we can go free for the day because Chucks in the military. :) We dont have much going on this week either. Its All American week at Ft Bragg so Chucks gnna be busy doing the events that they have going on there.

Lonestar Concert

Yesterday Chuck and I and our friend Jeanette went and saw Lonestar. They did a free concert for the troops and their families. They sang at Festive Park in downtown Fayetteville. They did a great job. They sang most of their songs and some new ones to. They thanked the troops for seving. We had so much fun. They had flags set up there to for the fallen soldiers. It was a nice night and we are happy that there no rain. We took a lot of pics there.

Sleepy Thursday

Its been a sleepy day for me. Did you ever have a night that you just didnt sleep good. Well last night I just tossed and turned and had lots of stuff on my mind. I wish that I wasnt a worrier but I am. I have been worried about Chucks court date on the 22nd of May. I dont want him to lose his liscense or get in trouble. Its just so stressful for the both of us. Please keep Chuck in your thoughts that everything will work out for us. We dont need this stress but we have to deal with it. I keep saying a prayer everyday for that mans family to. I still feel bad for his family. I know that in time Chuck and I will feel better. We really want to go on vacation to. Hopefully we will beable to in July.
Have you heard of the Kareoke sight online. Chucks brother Chris sent it to him. So now hes been singing tonight and having fun.

Sad news :(

We got sad news yesterday. The people that we had the accident with the older guy passed away. he was the one that was driving. We thought he was doing better because we didnt hear from the cop. The cop came to our house and talked with Chuck outside about it. He had to go to the court house and and being charged with a misameander. The judge said that it could be any of us that did it. The cop said nice stuff about Chuck to work in his favor. We feel so bad and sad for him and his family. I wish that we didnt take that road home or even come back to Ft Bragg. :( Its just depressing. The worse that is gonna happen to Chuck is his liscense is gonna be taken away for a year but hopefully not until October or November when he deploys again. Please say a prayer for everyone. Thanks.

Some updates from us:

I am sorry I havent blogged that much. We havent done that much this month. Some updates about us. We are both healing. Chucks gonna find out tomorrow if they are gonna give him a cast. Our bruises are healing. My chest was starting to heal but I moved some stuff around and it hurts again. :( I hope that I didnt do anything else to it. Please keep that man in your prayers. Hes still in the hospital. We havent heard anything about him so we think that hes doing okay.

Chucks little cousin is in the hosptial to in Syracuse. Please say a prayer for her to that she continues to keep getting better. Shes been in there for over a week she has a rare blood disease. We keep checking up on her with Chucks parents and they said that shes doing a little bit better.

Chuck had a 4 day but we didnt do to much. Today we are having our friend Angie and Chase over for Chicken Speedies and veggies to. Shes never had chicken speedies before so we hope that she likes them. Its our favorite NY thing.

Botanical Gardens

Chuck and I went to Botanical Gardens last Saturday and had a fun day before our accident. It was free entrance and we had a great day to go. . We saw so many pretty flowers, trees, lily pond and froggys to. We also saw some Candiadiean Geese and their baby geese to. :) We walked on the walking paths and got some good excercise to. I am glad that we had a fun time and that the weather was nice also.

Updates about the Crash we had :(

Chuck and I are doing okay. We are both are a little bit sore but nothing to bad. Chucks going to Ortho next Tuesday to get a cast on his arm. Since I took some pain meds my chest is starting to feel alittle bit better. I am gonna go tomorrow for a checkup to make sure that I am okay. Please say a prayer for the people that Chuck hit. The guy is in critical conditon he broke his neck. We feel so bad. We hope that he gets well. I am so worried about him. I dont want nothing to happen to him. I am a nervous wreck now. Thank you everyone.

We had a car accident yesterday :(

Chuck and I had a really bad car accident yesterday. We had a head on colission with another car coming home from the Gardens and the Movie. Chuck got distracted with the yard sale and we went head on with another car. Chuck chipped his wrist and banged up hi knees and clipped his neck. They gave him a cast for his arm. My chest hurts really bad where the seatbelt locked up on me. It feels like somone is pounding on my chest. The doctor at Womak gave me 2 Ivs because he was worried about my heart rate being so high. It was over 140. They gave me 2 xrays but everyhing was good. He said my heart was excellent and so was my lungs so that was good. My left knee was good to. I am so thankful that we are okay I am just depressed that Chuck wrecked his new car. Please keep the other people in your thoughts and prayers that they are okay. The one guy got out his car but the older guy had to be pryed out. Today we are just gonna relax because they gave us some pain killers. I am just so depressed.

Happy Thursday everyone. Its finally starting to warm up here in NC. Its in the 70s today and the next few days after will be in the 80s yeah. I was getting sick of the cold weather here. Today we are going to a going away party for our friends. They are going to Hawaii. Right now I am working on the house and Sabrina is getting sleepy and about to take a cat nap. She saids hi to everyone. :) I also have a yucky Sinus headache. Lately I have been feeling yucky but I think its the strange weather here and all the pollen everywhere. I just want it to go away. I hope that the sinus headache meds kick in so I can feel better for tonight. Chuck is training today another deployment in the early fall. :( I hope that everyone is having a good day.

Its a sunny Tuesday in NC. :) I am happy to say that it makes me happy. This pass month has been rainy and gloomy with a few days here and there of some sun shine. Its suppose to be in the 60s today, the higher 60s tomorrow and high 70s on Thursday. I hope the weather stays warm here. I am looking forward to spring and summer time. Chuck and I got some fun stuff planned for this summer. We dont have any big plans for today just gonna hangout at home tonight and watch NCIS. I hope that everyone has a great day.

Happy Monday everyone. There isnt much going on with us today. Chucks at work and I am cleaning the house and doing laundry. We dont have much planned for today and this week to. Chucks going away for a few days for training. Its gloomy weather to. :) We had a fun weekend. On Saturday we went grocery shopping and out for lunch. Heres a pic from Lake Rim Park. We went so he could throw his boomarang. :) I hope that everyone has a great weekend? We dont have much planned? Its gonna be in the 80s today. So if Chuck gets done with work early enough we are gonna take a walk at the park. Then tonight Chuck wants to go and sing Kareoke on post at the club. He has a lot of fun singing and I enjoy being his biggest fan. I am not the brave to get up there and sing but he is. We also have a few kareoke friends that we like to hangout with. Tomorrow its gonna be a rainy day but warm to so thats a plus. We might just go and see a movie tomorrow and he needs to get a haircut to. I need a trim but I am afraid to get my haircut here I heard lots of bad stuff of girls getting their cut to short. I was thinking a couple inches to get rid of the dead ends. I am still deciding what to do. On Sunday is our friends daughters birthday at the park. So we are gonna go after church. I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend.

27 Dresses

The other day my friend Rhonda and I went and saw 27 Dresses. I really liked that movie. I thought it was cute. :) Its about this girl that was a bridesmaid 27 Weddings. It was very funny.

NC ZOO

Yesterday we went to the Asheboro Zoo it was a couple of hours away from us. We went with our friends Rhonda, Brian, and her sister Theresa and her hubby James. It was a big zoo and it took us the whole day to see it. We parked in North America but we went to Africa first and saw the animals and then saw all the animals in North America. It was a gloomy day but at least we didn't have any rain. We used my new camera and it took awesome pics and we could get awesome zoom to. Its funny but Chuck took 480 pics there because he was having so much fun using it. Our favorite animal was the Lions. They were really neat to see. When we were watching them the male lion was roaring. He wasnt happy for some reason. Then he came over and sat by the female lion and he shoved her over. It was funny watching them. We also had fun watching the black bears and the gorillas to. They all had their own personalitys. Chuck was looking forward to seeing Tigers but they didnt have any there. They also had funny signs about the animals and not to let your kids climb the fences. We didnt get to see the Africican dancers or any of the other shows because we wanted to stay moving to keep warm since it was so windy. We did have some lunch there got Hotdogs and french fries and sodas. We also got popcorn and refills on soda during the day there we had a great time. We want to go back this summer again. Sometime when we go back to NY we want to go to the Syracuse Zoo to.

What a gloomy day

Its a very gloomy day in North Carolina and rainy. Its been doing it since Sunday. Well yesterday we had a sunny day but back to rain again. I know that we need it but I am getting sick of seeing it. My grass is liking the rain its starting to turn green which is good. It isnt good either though because that means we have to do yard work which we both dont like. I hope that all the rain we are getting will help the areas of North Carolina that are in a drought. Since its a rainy day and Chucks sleeping because he had CQ lastnight. I am gonna read my new book. I will be back with a review after I read it. I hope that everyone has a great day.
