I am in NY
I am in NY now we got here earlier today. It was a long trip and interesting to. We had weather in NC up in the 70s and then its in the 20s in NY. Its freezing here and theres a lot of snow here also. I didnt miss the snow when I was in NC. I brought my boots with me for it. They will definitely be for good use here. I am happy that there will be a lot of fun things going on while I am home. I am really tired and glad to be in NY with our families for 2 weeks.

I need a little break from Ft bragg. My friend Liz is coming to visit me on Wenesday and take me home with her. I am looking forward to seeing her and her friend. I told Chuck that I was going back to NY on Saturday for Christmas. He said that he was happy because he didnt want me to be a lone for the holidays. The only downfall of me going home is that I am gonna miss my friends here. I will see them January 4th when I am back. Its gonna be a sad Christmas this year because I would love to be with Chuck. I cant wait for next year when hes back home safe.

3rd Brigade Christmas Party
Today my friend Casie and I went to the the Christmas party for our unit. At first I didnt want to go because it was mainly for the kids but I am glad that I did. It was fun. The 82nd Airborne Choir came and sang Christmas songs and a couple of their other ones. They did a great job. I was kind of faraway but I was able to get a pic of them. Then they they had food every unit was assigned to bring a dish. Ours was the store bought deserts so I brought christmas tree cookies. We met up with my other friend and her kids and we all ate together and the kids sat on Santas lap. It was fun. I was watching some of the kids up there and a lot of them were afraid of him. Then some guys walked around and gave everyone gifts. Some got books and some got notebooks. Casie and I got blue notebooks. At first I thought the gift was silly but lately I have been forgetful so I am glad that I have it. I have it in my purse.

Yesterday we saw a awesome Christmas play my friends and I at a nearby Church. It was called the Kingdom of Light. All the actors and the music was awesome. I am glad that I went because it got me out of the house.

Yesterday my mom called me and she said that my brother Joe is in the hospial. His asthma was really bad He was sleeping the whole day on Wenesday and that isnt him. My mom woke him up to take him to the docotors office and he sat up and fell asleep to. So they got the doctors office and the doctor said that his airways were constricted and that he wasnt getting any air to his lungs. So they admitted him to the hospital. Hes still there and on Oxgyen. The doctor said that hes gonna be there for a few days and then he will beable to go home. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he will feel better soon.
