July news

I am sorry I have been a bad blogger. I have been spending time with my soldier before he goes back to Iraq. :( We had a great R&R just hanging out and relaxing and going to some fun places. When he goes back I will post some pics and share some fun things that we did.

July 1- Went to Buffalo Wild Wings for Karaoke.

July 2- We went to Wrightsville Beach

July 3- Karaoke at Firehouse

July 4- Ft Bragg for all the fun festivites and the fireworks.

July 5-Todays my grandmas birthday.

July 11th-CHucks little brother Aaron. Happy birthday buddy.

R&R

Today my favorite soldier came home for 2 weeks. I am so happy to have him home. I missed him so much. My friend Casie and I went and picked up at the Fayetteville NC airport. We had some plans to go to Florida but now we are just gonna relax and hangout with each other. We missed each other a lot. :)

Happy June 1rst.

June is gonna be awesome month my soldier will be home for R&R at the end of the month. I cant wait to see him. I miss him tons. :)

Updates on me and Chuck :)

I am sorry I havent been much of a blogger since Chucks been gone. There really isnt anything exciting going on.

I am happy that Chuck will be coming home for his R&R in June. Its gonna be great to see my favorite soldier. I miss him a lot. We are gonna go to Florida for a week and see Disney World since they got a really good miltary deal and Seaworld too. We are also gonna hangout around the house. Chuck wants to eat at his favorite resturants and and barbeque too. I really miss him barbequing.

I have been having ear problems lately. Well I had it since Germany but been ignoring it. Its a wierd noise in my ear that just wont go away. I went to the doctors last month and he said that it was just ear wax buildup but he cleaned my ear out and gave me drops. I still hear the noise and its started to affect my sleep which isnt good. I push the back of my ear and that noise stops. I wish I knew what it was. The doctor is gonna think I am a nut for going back but its driving me nuts. I am going back next Thursday I hope that he can help me out.

The weather is starting to warm up in NC its been in the 70's which is great. I love the warm weather.

Not much of a blogger

I am sorry I havent been around that much this month or blogged. I really havent had anything going on just the deployed spouse retreat this month. I know that I havent been a good friend either to everyone and I am sorry. I have had the deployment blues a little bit I am getting better. I am sorry V....I dont want you to think that I am mad at you because I am not. Dont you hate it when you miss phone calls. I missed Chucks phone call today because I was in the shower. :( I hope that he calls me back. blah. :(

Some Little Updates :)

I know that I havent blogged that much but nothing is really going on with me...

My little cousin Ylaena is doing better now. The doctor released her from the hopsital and said that she has acid reflux syndrom. The doctor gave her some meds and it seems to help her.

Chuck is doing good to. Hes been sending me lots of pics. I think that he sent some of them out. I got a a batch of new ones. I will email them to everyone on Sunday when I get get home.

I am gonna go away this weekend for the deployed spouse retreat with my friend and her kids. We are gonna go to Myrtle beach. It should be fun. It will be nice to hangout and meet new wives from the unit. I will come back and post some pics and tell everyone how the trip was.

Sabrina my cat has been very naughty lately. Last night I thought someone broke in because I heard this bangingin the kitchen. It sounded like things were breaking. Would you believe that my cat was on the counter playing around. It scared the living right out of me. Then this morning when I was chatting with Chuck online I heard that same noise again she was on the counter. My little stinker was. I snapped a pic of her quick. I guess she just likes to get into mischchieve.

Some updates on Chuck

Chuck is doing good hes been there for almost 2 months. He said that hes doing okay. He saids that its cold there but he knows that isnt gonna last long because summer is just around the corner. He said that their is a lot of stray dogs there. He knows I love animals and he said that I would think they are cute. I told him that I wanted some pics of them but he said when hes outside he forgets his camera. He told me he needs new sneakers someone stold his sneakers over there. I dont understand why people steal but I told him that I would get him another pair and put them in his next box. He sent me some more pics which is awesome. I love getting pics of him while hes over there. I miss my sweetie.

Its been a month yesterday

Its been a month since yesterday that Chuck has been deployed. This first month has gone by fast which is awesome. I have 11 more months to go. It helped to be around my family while he was gone. It also helps that I get to hear from him. Hes at Iraq now and getting setteled. He said that there isnt much around there to see. They dont even have a PX or anything. He gave me a list of stuff that he wants. So I told him that I would get him a box as sooon as I could. I have gotten some deployment pics from Kuwait. If anyone wants to see them I can email them to you.

Some news from me and Chuck

I got pics from Chuck today. I loved seeing his smiling face in his pics. He got to meet the Dolphin Cheerleaders, Craig Morgan and Mark Wills, and some singer. I am not sure of her name. Hes still in Kuwait and hes doing good he said. Well as good as he can. He saids its freezing there. Hes gonna be there for a few more days until he goes to his next place. I have the sweetest hubby he had Craig Morgan send a message to me. He sent me the video and its on facebook to. Craig saids Merry Christmas Amy. Hes to sweet for doing that. :) It cheered me up yesterday. I have been down lately because I miss Chuck and sometimes the sappy christmas songs make me cry also. Anybody else feel like I do when their soldier is deployed. :) I was so happy to get the pics. His smiling face cheers me up.

Tomorrow I am going home for Christmas back to NY. They are getting hit hard with snow there yuck. Please say a prayer that we have a safe trip and that the weather is okay. I hate snow and driving in it too. I worry. I am looking forward to see my family and his family. I miss them all. Its gonna be great to be with loved ones during the holiday season.

5 am phone calls

Well I know that everyone that has someone in the miltary gets those early morning phone calls. Chuck called me today at 5am he woke me up but I didnt care. I told him that he was the only person that could get away with that. He said that its warm in Kuwait but in the evenings it gets cold. Hes glad that they fixed his heater in their tent. We talked about different things and I cant remember everything because it was to early in the morning. He said they are gonna be their for a week and then they are off to their new place. I got his address if anyone wants it. Just hit me up on IM or email and I can tell you. He said where hes going there isnt gonna be much to get so he gave me a list of stuff that he wants. I told him that when I come home from my trip in January I can get everything that he wants and needs. Its been a week since hes been gone but I am getting better. I still really miss him but it helps me that I have my friends here and everywhere that knows what I am going through because they are too. Thanks everyone.

Some Deployment updates

I heard from Chuck yesterday and hes doing good. He called me from his first stop Maine and had a couple hour layover and called me. Then he came online in Ireland but I wasnt home to chat with him because I went to a christmas play with my friends. Then he called me on the cell phone last night since I wasnt home. Hes in Kuwait now. It was great to hear from him. Hes doing good and said that they changed the DSN phones over there and they work better which is good also. Well they are there for a week or so and then they are going to you know where. He wanted me to tell everyone hi.

Deployment Day

Our Deployment Day is here. Chuck and his soldiers left early this morning for Iraq. We knew about this day for a long time but I still wished this day didnt come. Its gonna be a year long which is gonna stink but I hope that it goes fast. We got some pics they arent the best pics because it was so cold and windy and I was teary eyed. I was happy that I got some. I am so proud of Chuck and hes so brave.

Some updates

Here our some little updates that are going on Chucks date for him deploying has been changed again. I am not sure if its true but hes gonna be home for Thanksgiving. That could change again but it will be great to have him home with me. So we bought a little Turkey, red potatos so Chuck can make his famous smashed potatos yummy. Hes also gonna make his pumpkin cheesecake to.

Chucks court case got stteled now. After 6 months its been setteled. Chuck did lose his liscese for a year because of the misameandor. He dosent get any restrictions the law said that if he got a DWI or a DUI he would of gotten restrictions to drive to work and back. I dont understand the law because Chuck didnt have any alcholol on him when it happened. We cant worry about it so our neighbor is taking him to work in the morning since hes got to be in the same time as him. Which is helpful to me so I dont have to get up early.

Early Anniversary pics

Well since Chuck is leaving this month we decided to do early anniversary pics. We went to Sears yesterday. The pics came out great even know my eyes were closed in a couple of them. We will be celebrating 7 years next Monday which is awesome. Heres a sample of some of our pics.

Time is going by to fast

Well Chuck is leaving for a another deployment soon which stinks. It feels like Chuck just got home 2008 is going by fast. I hope that 2009 will to so I can have him back in my arms again. Hes still here we got a few fun things planned before he leaves and we get to celebrate our 7 year anniversary which is awesome. I have been blessed to have him home for our anniversaries. We are also gonna get to celebrate Thanksgiving together to. He is gonna be leaving soon after that which makes me sad. I know that I got some awesome family and friends that will help me through this long deployment which will be great. I wanted to go home for the year that he would be gone but Chuck dosent want me to. He dosent want to lose our house which is true so I decided to make the best of it here at Ft Bragg. I just want him to be safe there. I already started to worry about him which is wrong I know but I want him to be safe. I have already started to stress out about it. I am trying not to but I am.

I am excited today because I get to celerbate Chucks 34th birthday with him since he was deployed last year. Tonight we are gonna go to Logans and have birthday cake. I will post some birthday pics later on.

There wont be to much going on this month since Chucks gone.

August 1-my cousin Jims birthday

August 22-Chuck comes home from JRTC.

August 29-September 1rst-4 day for Labor Day we are gonna go to Busch Gardens in VA.

Just another Tuesday

Chuck left for JRTC on Saturday until the 22nd of August. JRTC means Joint Readyness Training Center and its at Ft Polk Lousianna. Hes there for training that will help him and his unit before they deploy in November. I didnt want him to go but its a month it could be worst for us. We had such a fun month of going places and being with each other and seeing our parents. I didnt want July to end. He gets another block leave in September before they leave in November.
Since hes been gone and I have been going through vacation pics to send to our families and put in our photo albums and scrapbooks to. Today the guy came out and sprayed for ants. He said that he couldnt do the ant hills because they didnt give him enough time to. He told me to call housing and tell them about the ant hills and stuff. Ugggh.

Happy Wenesday

Happy Wenesday everyone just wanted to check in with everyone. We dont have anything going on right now. Chucks been busy with work this week they are taking a class on military intelligenance. Its suppose to help them with their training and when they go down range in the fall. :( I am not looking forward to the fall but we knew he was going to be going again anyways. On a happier note we are looking forward to next week when he goes on block leave. We got some fun things planned. :) The weather has been getting getting hot again. Its in the high 80s today but its suppose to be getting hotter soon. :) We also have been getting lots of rain to which is good. Last summer NC was in drought but this year we arent. Our grass is so much greener and growing fast to. They have still water restrictions here but not as bad as last year. :)
