December Dates

I know that I have been bad blogger. I am sorry about that. I will try to post more and share stuff thats going on with me and Chuck.

Dec 1rst- 24 days until Christmas

December 2nd-Lunch with friends tomorrow at Logans. :) THen we are going to visit our friends Rhonda and Brian and meet their sweet little girl Rebecca. :)

December 5th- Our nephew Deonovan's 7 month birthday and we are gonna go to the Christmas on the Neuss in Raleigh. Its a cool christmas light show.

December 10th- my moms and my father in laws birthday.


December 11th-Making christmas cookies


December 12th- Cookie exchange party and white elephant exchange

December 16th-We are off to NY to see our family for Christmas. Its gonna be a great holiday because we get to be with the ones that we love and be with each other. Last Christmas he was deployed so this year we are gonna treeasure our time together. :)

December 24th- Merry Christmas eve. We are gonna celebrate with my family and his family. Then we are going to Midnight Mass.

November Dates

November is gonna be a good month for me. :) Theres a few important dates for us...We got a lot of things coming up for us this month. Also Chuck is suppose to be home sometime. Between the 15th and the 26th. Its gonna be so great to havehim back home. I miss him so much.

Rising Sun Indianna

I went to Rising Sun Indianna with my friend Casie last week. We went to visit her grandparents. We stayed at her grandparents farm. It was such a nice and relaxing place. We were both able to forget about our stress and drama for a weeek. Her grandparents were super nice and made me feel welcome in their home. :) While we were in Rising Sun Casie showed me wear she use to live. She also showed me around there. I got to see the Ohio River and on the other side was Kentucky. I thought that was cool when she told me. We had dinner with her dad, step mom and little sister at a Mexican Resturant.

I know that I have been a bad blogger lately. I am sorry about that. I am gonna start to blog more and update everyone about my adventures and what I am reading and posting pics. I will also share stories about my soldier. :)

Happy June 1rst.

June is gonna be awesome month my soldier will be home for R&R at the end of the month. I cant wait to see him. I miss him tons. :)

Yesterday I had a fun day with some of my friends for Memorial Day. :) My friend Casie and I went to my friend Jenns house. There was great food and great friends. I always have fun when I hangout with all of them. There was subs, fruit, Lots of chips and dip, Vegetables and dip, two different kind of pasta salads. Homeade potato skins and ice cream. There was also soda and juice for the kids.

Ft Bragg NC Fair

The other day I went to the Ft Bragg Fair with my friends Jenn, Lacey and their kids. Laceys hubby also went to. We had a fun time walking around and going on the rides too. We also had some yummy fair snacks too. I had a lemonade and a funnel cake yummy. I didnt play any games this time.

I went on the Ferris wheel twice with my friend and their kids. Then my friend Lacey and I went on the drop ride. It brought us all the way to the top then dropped us. That was fun. I havent been on rides for awhile.

I got a lot of cool pics. I am glad that I had some fun.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter family and friends. I hope that everyne has a wonderful day. Today my dear friend Casie and her hubby invited me over for dinner. Her hubby has been home on R&R for a couple of weeks going back to the sandbox this week sometime. I am blessed to have such a great friend to hangout with. I was thinking that today I was gonna be a lone but she was so nice and invited me over too.

Chuck reenlisted

Today Chuck reenlisted for 6 more years in the Army. He did it downrange. He wasnt gonna stay in the army but since the economy isnt doing good he decided that it was best for us. We are going to be redeploying next March 2010. Hes excited about going to our new duty station because of the mountains, snow and sking. I am excited to because our friend Rayann lives out that way. I am gonna miss Ft Bragg though even know I didnt really like it here, I do have a awesome friends. :)

My birthday yesterday

Yesterday I had a great birthday with my friend Casie. She made my day extra special we went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch. Then after lunch we went to Best Buy and I got my Canon Rebel XS. Its such a nice camera but now I have to learn how to use it. The lady there reccomended it to me said that it would be good for beginners to Digital SRL. Its gonna be a fun camera to use and I cant wait to go somewhere and try it out. I am gonna see if I can find a book about Digital SRLs so I can learn about them. My sweetie also called me to wish me a Happy Birthday which made my day more great. THen we came home and went to her house. She made me a red velvet cake with yummy cheesecake frosting. It was so good. Casie made my day so nice because she knew I missed Chuck. I also got lots of phone calls from family and friends to wish me a Happy Birthday. Thanks everyone. :) I turned 33.........and I dont even feel old which is good.

Not much of a blogger

I am sorry I havent been around that much this month or blogged. I really havent had anything going on just the deployed spouse retreat this month. I know that I havent been a good friend either to everyone and I am sorry. I have had the deployment blues a little bit I am getting better. I am sorry V....I dont want you to think that I am mad at you because I am not. Dont you hate it when you miss phone calls. I missed Chucks phone call today because I was in the shower. :( I hope that he calls me back. blah. :(

I had a nice Valentines weekend with my friend Jenn and her kids. We went on the deployed spouse retreat it was for all the wives that had hubbies that are deployed. We had a nice time. There was 80 other wives from the units that are with 3rd brigade. It was nice for me we all had ocean view rooms. It was so peaceful watching the ocean from my room. The chaplins were so nice and so helpful too. They had some helpful classes. We also got free time too and that was fun for me and my friend. My friend and her kids went swimming for awhile. Then we went to Broadway By The Beach and walked around and had dinner at Unos. Then yesterday I woke up and got to see the sun rising around 7. I got some awesome pics. I am glad that my camera did a great job.

Some people asked me about it what you do is ask your rear d chaplins if they do anything for the deployed spouses while the hubbies are gone.

Some Little Updates :)

I know that I havent blogged that much but nothing is really going on with me...

My little cousin Ylaena is doing better now. The doctor released her from the hopsital and said that she has acid reflux syndrom. The doctor gave her some meds and it seems to help her.

Chuck is doing good to. Hes been sending me lots of pics. I think that he sent some of them out. I got a a batch of new ones. I will email them to everyone on Sunday when I get get home.

I am gonna go away this weekend for the deployed spouse retreat with my friend and her kids. We are gonna go to Myrtle beach. It should be fun. It will be nice to hangout and meet new wives from the unit. I will come back and post some pics and tell everyone how the trip was.

Sabrina my cat has been very naughty lately. Last night I thought someone broke in because I heard this bangingin the kitchen. It sounded like things were breaking. Would you believe that my cat was on the counter playing around. It scared the living right out of me. Then this morning when I was chatting with Chuck online I heard that same noise again she was on the counter. My little stinker was. I snapped a pic of her quick. I guess she just likes to get into mischchieve.

Back in NC

I am back in NC after being in NY for 2 weeks with our family. I had so much fun while was I home. I am glad that I got to see mostly everyone there. I got a lot of great pics let me go through them later on and see which ones I want to share. I got a lot of great ones. I heart my family. My friends came and got me on Sunday afternoon since they were in NY visiting also. They were with my friend Jeanettes sister. We spent the night at the Super 8 Sunday evening. They were to tired to drive. We left yesterday morning from Carisle PA and got back at Ft bragg around 93opm. It was a long drive but I am glad that to be back. I missed my kitty, friends and my house. My friends said they were happy to back at Ft Bragg also. I am planning on going back to NY maybe in the spring time or the summer time. It helps to keep busy when my favorite soldier is deployed.
