More Strasbourg Pics

We went to Strasbourg France on Saturday and we had tons of fun with Verna and her family. Here our some more pictures from our fun day. :)

Tarte Flambee Flammekueche

Tarte Flambee Flammekueche

Ingredients: Dough, thick cream, onions, lardon

Prepare a dough wotj 500g of flour, 20 g of bakers yeast, a pinch pf salt, 1 1/2 glasses of tripid water. Roll the dough very thinly into a cingular shape, fold in the edge (1-2cm), garnish with double cream, thinly sliced onions and smoked diced lardon. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake a very hot oven and serve immediately.

We had this for lunch well similar to it. Its a crept thing but the one that we all ate was a crept pizza with cream, cheese and ham. It was really yummy. We had this when when we were at the Strasbourg Christmas Market in France.

Its Been A Year

Its been a year that our Sabrina Kitty moved in with us today. She been through a lot. The poor thing last year was crying in our hallway and running up and down the stairs. So we finally went out and talked to her and Chuck was finally able to get her to come in. She wasnt very nice at first but I dont blame her because she was so hungry, cold and was neglected to. I wish that we knew where she came from and stuff but we love her very much.
When she first moved in Chuck wasnt sure if me and her were going to make it together because he had to go to the feild for a month. I am happy to say that we made it through a year and many more to come of being with us.
Sabrina learned how to trust again and how to love to. She knows now that she has food, water and a warm place to live.
Since living with us she has been spoiled with backrubs and she prefers them on my bed silly cat. She loves to play with her toys especially the mouse on the string. She goes nuts for that. She also loves her scratching post to. Shes always scratching on that. She loves to snuggle with me when I go to bed. Her most favorite thing to do is watching the birds and the bunny rabbits outside. She could sit at the window all day do it.
Her favorite human food is the frozen shrimp. She loves it when Chuck gives it to her. She always goes to him when hes eating that because she knows that she will get a few pieces.
Shes always got a home with me and Chuck.
Today Sabrina is spending her day taking a cat nap under the table.

Happy 2007

Happy New Years from Germany. This is our last New Years in Germany we are gonna miss it here and all of our great adventures that we had and all of our wonderful friends that we made to. :( We hope that everyone has a wonderful 2007.

Strasbourg France

Yesterday Chuck and I went with our friends Verna, Rich, Dakotah and Jessi to Strasbourg France. We went and checked out the Christmas markets there and to some walking around and seeing the sights to. We also saw a really pretty church its name is the Notre Dame of Strasboug. It was a really beautiful church and so gothic looking to. For lunch we had Tarte Flambee Flammekueche. That was a really good French food. It had lots of cheese and ham in it. We also got some gluwein mugs to. Well this time I didnt drink the gluwein because it was gross. I drank some hot chocolate in mine.%2

Happy New Years Eve

I just wanted to wish all of our family and friends all over to have a happy, fun and safe day today. We arent going to do much tonight. Chucks gonna have a few drinks and we are going to watch the fireworks.

Merry Christmas Everyone

We just wanted to wish all of our family and friends a very Merry Christmas. Hope that everyone has a great day today. We opened up presents and gave our furbaby Sabrina her presents. She got a couple furballs to kick around and some kind of toy that has cat nip in it. She loves it. I took some pics but I will share them later.

Christmas Shoes

Christmas Shoes is one of my favorite christmas movies to watch and I love the christmas song to. If you dont know about the song Bob Carisle sings it. Its really good. Theres a book about it to that is really good also.

Weekend roundup

I am sorry I havent posted that much this month. Well heres what we did from Thursday through Sunday.

Thursday-I went shopping with my friends and we had lunch at Subway downtown. Then came home and went to christmas party for Chucks unit. That was okay. Chuck had more fun than I did.

Friday-Just did some christmas shopping and hungout with Chuck at home. We watched the The Year Without A Santa Claus. It wasnt the cartoon verison it was the real version. I liked the movie but Chuck said that it was boring. He went to sleep.

Saturday-We went to my friends house for a christmas party in Wurzburg. Then we went to Midnight maddness sales at the PX. We got a few things there and Chuck bought a GPS system. He loves it.

Sunday- We went to Heidelberg christmas market today with our friends. Verna and Rich, Jessi and Dakotah. It was a neat christmas market. We saw some neat stuff there. We didnt get that many pics because it was dark. We had dinner at Pizza hut. We had a fun day. Now I am watching 7th Heaven and hes playing with his new GPS. Hes gonna try it out to tomorrow going to work.

Christmas Markets in Germany :))

This weekend Chuck and I did some christmas markets with our friends Verna, Rich and their kids Jessi and Dakotah. On Saturday we went to Michelstadt which is one of their favorite ones to go to. We loved it to and got a couple more gluwein glasses for our collection. Then we went to the one in Rheinheim which is in their town. They were both fun. Then on Sunday we went to Hanau Christmas Market in our town and then we went to a medevil one at Ronneburg Castle. That was a fun one to.

Hello

I just wanted to drop in and say hi to all of you and Happy Hump Day. Chuck and I havent been up to much so thats why I havent posted. We leave Germany in a few months or less. I am so sad I am gonna miss Germany and all of my friends that I made here :(

Working Hard

Chuck worked hard a few days ago putting together Sabrinas new water fountain. He finally got it got it together. Sabrina watching his every step.
