Hi everyone sorry I havent blogged that much this week. There wasnt much going on for me and Chuck. He had some ruck march on Tuesday and Wenesday. Well meeting my friend Verna on Tuesday was neat. We had lunch at Popeyes and then just walked around a little bit and then came back to my house. Today there isnt much planned just gonna celebrate my freinds doggies birthday. His name is Smokey and hes a really cute Great Dane. I hope that you are all doing good. Talk to you soon.

Happy Sunday

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone. Chuck and I didnt to much this weekend. We just relaxed and went to the Hessen Mall and got a few things and had icecream and Chuck got a ice coffee. He loved it. Well today we had to get a few things from the Px and then came home. I made my moms homemade mac and cheese and that turned out good.

Yup Chuck and I made Chicken and Dumplings tonight..I tried my best to make them..This time I used bisquick and they came out okay..I guess when I make them again I will get better at it..

Remembering

Lets remember today it was such a horrible and very sad day 5 years ago...So many people lost their lives...Lets keep all of them and their families in our thoughts and prayers and the troops to that lost their lives...

What was everyone doing 5 years ago on this horrible day..>I was at a daycare center in my hometown in NY..I was changing diapers in my toddler rooms and getting them ready for the day...Then one of the moms came in and asked us if we saw the planes hit the world trade center and we all said no...So our boss brought the tv in the baby room and we all watched what we could during the day...

Chuck was fighting with the MP about the ticket that he got on his car when it happened then he went on lockdown..

It was such a sad day and I am sad today thinking of what happened to all of those people...

What is everyones favorite show from the 80s..Well Chuck and I have a few favorites but today we watched Gimme Me A Break..That was a funny show. I use to also watch Facts Of Life to..That was another one of my favorites..I wish that they had a box set for that also.

Congrats to Sabrina Kitty

Thanks to everyone who helped me decide what picture to use of Sabrina for the pic pet contest..We were at the PX this morning and Chuck asked when the drawing of it was...The lady said 1300...She said which one was ours and we told her it was the cat in the bag and she said that won is first place..That made me smile. So congratulations to our little Sabrina she got a 20 dallor gift certificate to use at the PX and next week she gets a certificate to..Yeah...I was having such a bad day today and that cheered me up..

Less than 6 months

Chuck and I and Sabrina have less than 6 months in Germany..We leave sometime in February to a new duty station...We are not sure of where yet but Chuck wants to either be at Ft Bragg, Ft Carson or Alaska. Well if we get Ft Bragg North Carolina we would only be 12hrs away from our familys and we still have some friends there to...Ft Carson we would have Joe and Cassandra and our freinds Rayann and John...and Chuck said that he could go sking and mountain hiking and stuff to..Well if we get Alaska, I am not sure what we will have to there I guess no one..So I hope that we are some where in the states so we can be closer to our familys than we are here..

Well I have made some great friends in Germany that I am gonna miss a lot..I hope that I will beable to see them again before we leave..You all know who you are...We are gonna try to get some more traveling in, sight seeing and Chuck really wants to go to the October Fest he hasnt been able to go since hes been here because hes been in the feild so we are gonna try and go on a bus trip at the end of the month..

Ikea Flea Markets

Today Chuck and I went to the Ikea Flea Market which was buy our house. They have it there the first Sunday of every month. Would you believe that Chuck and I have been in Germany for almost 3 years and have never been to it. So we woke up early this morning and went with our friends to check it out. Parking was horrible there but after waiting for 10 mins we found a spot. There was a lot of stands set up that old stuff and new stuff. It was pretty neat. I bought a really pretty pink shirt and Chuck bought something for his car and he also bought a motorized cat to pick on Sabrina with. It worked because shes not real happy that cat and walks away from it. We cant wait to go next month and check it out again because we heard that theres gonna be a lot of christmas stuff there. Well I hope that everyone is having a Happy Sunday.

Poor Chuck

Yup Poor Chuck got stung by a bee the other day and he can't get the stinger out of him..How do you take it out because its driving him nuts because its really itchy. The bee stung him at work on the side of his stomache when he was unloading stuff.

Homeade Chicken Noodle soup

Today Chuck and I both have sinus infections yuck......or mine is just a head cold because of the change of weather in Germany. One day its cold here and the next day its warm. I dont know what to think. I just wish that mother nature would make up her mind and decide what to do. Well back to Homeade Chicken noodle soup thats what Chuck made for the both of us tonight. It was really yummy and made us both feel better. He boiled the chicken and then cut it up and put chicken broth in it and then added the veggies to it. It was great. What makes everyone else feel better when your sick...I hope that everyone is having a Happy Saturday..

Our Day

Happy September 1rst to everyone. I hope that everyone has a great Labor Day weekend...Well to begin our 4 day we went to Wurzburg Palace to see it our with our friend Nancy but we got totally lost finding it and ended up driving around for 3hrs and finally gave up and went to the PX and did some shopping and had lunch at Charleys. Then we came home because we were all tired and me and Chuck both have sinus infections and are just relaxing tonight gonna watch Larry The Cable Guy Health Inspector and go to bed. I hope that everyone has a Happy Friday.

Another Rainy Monday

Yup its another rainy monday here in Germany again. Thats the only thing it been doing the last few weeks is raining. The weather is so cold and gloomy. I just wish the sun would shine here. I was reading that it was in the 90s and sunny where we use to be stationed at.

Chuck came back from the feild today and we went downtown shopping and had dinner at Grimms and had chicken snitzel and french fries. Yummy. Then we walked around. I was on the lookout for winter boots. I hope that I find some soon. I have a feeling that we are gonna have a really cold winter here.

Hello its Tuesday

There isnt much to update here. I am doing good and so is Sabrina Kitty. Chuck calles me from Graffenowar and tells me how hes doing and hes doing good with his training and gonna be back next week.
Sabrina is still in heat but I think in a few days shes gonna be better and we will both finally get some rest at the house.

What to with my Sabrina..

Yup my cat Sabrina is driving me nuts at night time. I love her but she wont let me sleep that much. She started to wake me up every 2 or 3 hrs to play. I cant shut my bedroom door because she will cry and scratch on my door and wake up my neighbors. I dont want to get in trouble with them Any other suggestions of what to do so I can get some sleep. If you want a good laugh heres a story about last night she was sleeping on Chucks side of the bed and when I rolled over on her side she started to lick her lips and she almost bit me. YIKES. I think I have a little vampire cat living with me. Please help . Thank you.

Its Thursday again....

I know that I havent been on for a few days to post anything. Well not much is going on with me since Chucks in the feild. My USB Cord plug thing isnt working either and I had some pictures to share. So hopefully I can figure it out. Well my day stunk today because one of my friends stood me up for lunch she went and checked her mail with my other friend and they both never came back until after 3. So I told her what she did was wrong because I was waiting for her all day. I was gonna treat her today. I told her that I hate to be stood up. She said that I can tell that your mad at me. I said I was but now I am okay. One thing that Chuck always loves about me is that I forgive and that I dont hold grudges. Well after talking to Chuck tonight to cheered me up also. Some movies that I watched this weekend

Heres some movies that I watched this weekend and what I thought about them..

Failure to Launch-that was a really cute movie it was about a man that still lived with his parents and they want him to move out and get married..

Larry The Cable Guy the Health Inspector-Was a really funny its about this guy thats a health inspector and goes to resturants to make sure that everything is safe there and clean and stuff..Then he has to go and find out who is poisioning the food and making everyone sick. Its a really good movie..

Cheaper By The Dozen 2-was a really cute and funny movie

The Standby Man-Was a scary movie its about a bank robbery and they get a lot of hostages and if what they want isnt met they shoot a hostage.

My Sunday

I didnt do anything spectacular today just cleaned up a little bit and hungout with my friends and we had chicken enchilladas and rice and watched Cheaper By The Dozen 2 and The Standbye man..They were both good movies..Now I am watching Cold Case and hanging out with Sabrina Kitty..I hope that everyone had a good weekend..

My mom told me yesterday that my Aunt Molly had to have major surgery on neck and spine it took a couple of hours and then she went to recovery and the doctor said that she might need a breathing machine if her throat to swell up...When my mom called me this morning she said that she was doing okay so far..Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Friday Shout Out to everyone

I have a had a okay week and I am so happy that its finally Friday...I love the weekends...Well I didnt have much of a interesting day just hungout with my friend Nancy and since shes friends with the girl that lives above me she wants me and that girl to be friends so we went to the Px and Subway for lunch and let me tell you that was to wierd for me..I dont think that girl likes me. She didnt talk to me at all and if anyone knows me I am shy when I first meet you but after I warm up I love to talk..I tried being her friend so I guess we are gonna go to Walmart on Wenesday with her..Wish me luck that she will talk to me because I feel funny hanging out with someone that dosent want me around.. Tonight I am just watching Monk and hanging out with my sweet kitty Sabrina.. Chucks doing good in the feild he made marksmanship what ever that is for shooting guns..He saids that its good but not the greatest that he could do..Have a good day or night wherever you are.

Cute story

I got to talk to my little cousin Mitchell on the phone he was at my parents house...He said that he missed me and Chuck...He calls him Chuckie.. He said that he was gonna play a game with my mom and he was gonna go to Kindergarden soon...I said thats neat to him he gets to make new friends and he said yup..I said that I missed playing with him and he said I know that.. He said that he made rockets today to with my mom..I said I wanted to come home and make rockets with him and he started to laugh. Hes been my little buddy since he was born.. I read him lots of books at my moms house 3 years ago when Chuck was in Afghanistan. His favorite book was the Hokey Pokey he loved it when I did the movements and bounced up and down with him.. I miss him..Heres a pic of him and me when he was almost 2..Well I am off to bed just wanted to share the cute story of me and Mitchell.

Happy Wenesday

I went to the Vet today

Hi everyone today I went to the vet to get a distemper shot and a microchip. I didnt like it all but I felt bad for my mommmy because she was more nervous than me. She was afraid that I was gonna run as soon the vet guy took me out of my crate. I didnt run at all I didnt want to get out of it for him. He had to dump me on the table. The first thing he did was weigh me he said that I was 12 pds which is good. Mommy thought I weighed more but I didnt. She was suprized to see that I didnt weigh that much.. Then he took my heart beat and then gave me two shots. I did really good for them I didnt even cry. Well I talked a lot but no crying so mommy was very happy with me. After the nice guy vet was done she asked him how old I was and he didnt know he just said that I was a mature cat. Mommy was like okay when he said that to her. So she wants everyone to guess how old I am. Her and my daddy think I am 2 years old. Then when mommy was paying for my appointment she put me on the floor in the crate and this big doggy was sniffing me and sticking his paw in the crate so I hit him with my paw I didnt like that. Well now we are home and I am really tired because the appointment took up my nap time so I am gonna go and take a nap. I hope that everyone has a Happy Monday.

Lazy Sunday

Yup it was a lazy Sunday here in Germany for me and Sabrina. Since Chucks in the feild until the end of August we watched tv and played on the computer and I played with Sabrina with her favorite toy the feather. She loves that so we played with that to. I also played on myspace and found some of my old high school friends and chatted with them. Then for dinner tonight I went to my friend Nancys house and she made homeade chicken nuggets, homemade mashed tators and broccoli with cheese. Then we watched the Shaggy dog and had birthday cake for her great danes birthday his name is Saturn. That was my Sunday. I got a busy day tomorrow got to clean and take Miss Sabrina to the vets. Wish me luck because I am kind of nervous taking her. Well I am off so have a great day or night everyone.

My Friday

My friday isnt going as planned. I woke up this morning not feeling good and I had to take Miss Sabrina to the vet but I wouldnt have made it there and felt good while she was working on her. To top it all of Sabrina didnt fit in her carry on bag either. She was to big both ways. Shes gained weight since February. So I canceled her appointment and gonna take her on Monday with my friend Nancy. Wish us luck and that she is well behaved there for her distemper shot and microchip to. I am also gonna go and get her a new carry on bag or crate for big cats tomorrow. My friend also put up curtins up for me here they are. They are a rose color. Well I just wanted to share my day with all of you.

Pirates Of The Carribean Dead Mans Chest

Chuck and I went to see Pirats Of The Carribean Dead Mans Chest yesterday and we both thought that movie was really good. It had a lot of action in it and it was fun to watch. It was 2hrs 1/2. Chuck cant wait for the next Pirate of The Carribean movie. Has anyone else saw the movie what do you all think of it. Let us know.

Watermelon-Lime Ice Pops

Watermelon-Lime Ice Pops
(Makes 12)

4 cups seeded, diced watermelon

1 cup hulled, chopped strawberries

1/3 cup sugar

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 tbsp chopped mint

In blender puree first four ingredients, strain. Stir in mint. Divide in molds: freeze.

(I got this recipe from the Instyle magazine and wanted to share with all of you.) I thought it would be a fun summer recipe since its so hot here in Germany and everywhere else)

Smokey The Big Furbaby

Smokey the big furbaby came over to our house to visit with my friend Nancy. He got hurt by her other dog and she wanted to keep a eye on him. I know that Sabrina wasnt very happy with the idea of a dog in her house so she laid under the table in the dining room the whole time while he stayed in the living room. Smokey is the sweetest Great Dane. He thinks of himself as a big lap dog and sits his butt in your lap. Which I dont mind because I like dogs.

Superman Returns

Chuck, me and my friend Nancy saw Superman Returns today. It was a okay movie. They dragged it out and it got boring. There was some action parts to it that made it fun to watch. The movie is about Superman Returning after being gone for awhile. Everything changed. He finds out that Lois Lane has a fiance and a little boy to.


I dont want to ruin it for all of you so if your gonna see it just beware that its almost 2 hrs in a half.

Its to hot for me and Chuck in Germany lately. Last year we had a lousy summer here but now its hot and we both wish that we had a air conditoner here. Is anyone else hot in Germany. I dont mind the warm weather I just wish that we could get our house to be cooler. Just fans arent working for us. We have to be careful if we open up the windows or the deck door because of our little escape cat. Any ideas of what we could do.

Chuck got some new toys these pass few weeks that he loves to play with. He got a new MP3 player, a new shopvacume he saids that its mine but he seems to love to vacume with it more than me. American Dreamz

A movie review


We saw American Dreamz today it was a okay movie. I dont want to give to much away but Hugh Grant kind of reminded me of Simon from American Idol with some of the stuff that he said. There was some funny stuff in there and some boring stuff to. Chuck got bored with the movie and almost went to sleep. I know that I didnt say that much about it but I dont want to ruin it for anyone that sees it.

Hotwings

Hotwings By Chef Chuck:


Chuck made Hotwings today for us and our nieghbors. He used my dads recipe and his brothers recipe and they came out really good. What he did is mixed Texas Pete Sauce with a stick of butter in the bowl and put it in the microrave for 2 minutes and then he stuck all the wings in flour. After that he put in a few at time in the frying pan with cooking oil. After they were cooked all the way through he stuck them in the bowl of hot sauce and they are really yummy.

Finally our internet is up and running again. We didnt have it for 3 days so the TKS guy came out and checked it and he said it was DSL Modem so we went and bought a new one. We are both happy because we can both be on the internet and he can finally play on his lap top.

Its a NY Thing

Today we are barbequing Chicken Spedies and Chucks gonna make his grandmas yummy potato salad. Thats the only kind of Potato salad that he will eat. Chicken spedies are cut up chicken chunks with Lupos Marinade sauce. If you dont like chicken you eat beef, veal, or venison. Our favorite spedies are Chicken. Cat Question for all Cat people

Well as most of you all know that we took a stray in Janauary and at first it was hard for the both of us with her because she was so agressive but then she calmed down a lot and she even trys to love people. Well the question is how do I make her stop biting. One of my friends today told me that I have to break her from that. But how do I do that with out being bit by her. She mentioned some kind of stuff that you put on you and when she bites she gets a awful taste in her mouth. But where do I get that at being in Germany. I know that it isnt right but when she does bite its out of being scared or she thinks that your gonna hurt her.
